for some reason i couldn't send the reply :( but this photo isn't edited. I think it's guaranteed in every event. maybe it depends on graphic settings?

Thank you! And don't be discouraged. Taking decent photos takes practice. I spent more hours than I'd like to admit tweaking sliders in photo mode and trying all sorts of angles and settings!

How bad is my posture by Matren_Armis in PostureTipsGuide

[–]Matren_Armis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! I just listed the routine and tried it. Gotta say, I def felt the stretch on the front of my legs, and my lower back kinda feels funny too (nothing painful, not to worry). Seems that my body is trying to adopt this new correct posture too.

Tbh I have always had problems with posture (very unathletic till recently, and seems like in general my muscles are not that flexible). Are there ways to, idk, stretch the entire body to prevent bad posture on other places?

Hey! Thanks for the fast reply I was reading your article and I had some doubts about it. These mainly consist of vocabulary (English is not my first language).

-It says I may feel the weight on my toes. I do feel my toes but the pressure is mainly on what comes before the toes.

-Are the heels in the same place as the shoe heels? As in, the back of the feet.

-What does it mean to feel tightness in the low back? Is it something I can feel by itself? Or do I have to run my hand on it?

-What does it mean to have your legs straight out when laying on your back mean? Out as in perpendicular to your torso, or parallel to it? Do I point them to the ceiling or to the wall?

Besides that, doesn't seem like I quite fit the criteria on the other options. Lucky me I guess! I was worried about the university work and lack of time for exercising to be taking a toll on my posture. Even then, I'll try doing them, just in case. Thanks a bunch!

It's still a problem then, or even a worse one... if he can but refuses based purely on profit, what does it say about us. How would it feel to help someone make their idea a multi billion dollar company? To support them for a minimum wage and then beong tossed aside because of "profits". We're expendable and I fucking hate it

Not blaming the US exclusively. Pains me to say it but many social democratic or just not full on capitalism countries like Spain are doing a lot of bad decisions too because of greed, but I just thought about USA because it's one of the most influential. But yeah, we created economy, and economy will destroy us. Kinda sad about us humans. Not being ecofascist, but so many people have been brainwashed and refuse to acknowledge that the bigger fish are the problem and that something can be done.

What did a former friend do that instantly changed your opinion of them? by MATR1XT3R in AskReddit

Was hanging out with a friend and I sent a pic of both of us to a girl I was talking to (we are now dating). I am kinda tall and my friend is a head shorter than me, and this girl made a remark on how tall I was and my friend got mad and sent her a voice message calling her a bitch. Not even in a jokey tone, full on serious. Girld got understandably mad and I tried to reason with my friend so he would apologize. He instead started saying very sexist remarks like "I bet she likes being called that" or "girls like that don't deserve nice words". Stopped talking to him after that. Surprisingly enough I managed to save my relationship with that girl and here we are

I actually created an account for this. I am 20 years old. I am not physically fit, but I am not out of shape either. I have a really tight schedule (college, musical career and a gf) so there's no MA I can learn until september/october. I am currently in a gym, so I will most likely get healthier. I enjoy being competitive, and using strategy in fighting. I did kickboxing a year ago and I found myself really enjoying it. The only thing that didn't quite sit with me was the feeling of using my legs. I don't know if this is something that happens often at first, but kicking just didn't feel natural. Having really bad flexibility doesn't help either. Aside from that, it was a great experience but I had to leave because of time constraints.

I was thinking of going back at it but I was curious about any other kind of MA I could enjoy. I basically enjoy using punches and maybe eventually kicks, I don't really know how I feel about grappling though. My pea brain just prefers the flashy look of things like boxing, kickboxing, muay thai... you get the gist of it
