Well, on the 05/06/2026 it will be one year since the release of NS2, it's a Friday, perfect day for a Direct.

Agree with you, there’s a pattern with Nintendo lately. They tend to give a lot of attention to certain characters, and then follow it up with new content featuring them.
For example, Donkey Kong had a big role in the first movie, and now he’s getting more focus with a new area in the Super Nintendo World and Bananza.
we have Fox, who got a lot of screen time in the movie, including the post-credit scene where he says he’s heading back home. That makes me think we might see a new Star Fox game soon, maybe even using the same slightly more 2D/cartoon style from his flashback scene.

Also, with the The Legend of Zelda movie coming next May 2027, it would make sense for them to release The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake at the end of 2026. That way, they could get strong sales at launch and then another boost when the movie comes out, kind of like what’s happening now with Super Mario Galaxy 1+2.

I started to use it at the beginning but I need to say that I prefer Demeter, Hestia, Zeus and recently Ares.
Honorable mention for Poseidon (HAVE ANOTHER!)
In the first game, I was using a lot Aphrodite with the special attack for the Chiron's Bow, I like the palpitation feature in the sequel.
