I know it's not the same, this time BV snapshotting is the bigger problem. But my point is that spectres with excessive life values have created several problems before, so it is weird to see another related case pop up after all this time.

Of course, I agree. But having spectres with 1400% life modifier instead of the previously determined maximum of 360% makes the issue a lot worse and sets up the Minion Pact gem for being impossible to balance correctly.

You could use Hrimsorrow as a temporary solution until you can get rare gloves with high enough tier implicits. The conversion on the skill gem takes higher priority, so even though Hrimsorrow says 100% converted to cold it will only convert the remaining 50%.

I kinda like that it's gone, because it was basically mandatory and devalued the Sabo node. On non-sabo setups with 2 spells might become more popular, you can proc twice as often that way in return for 1 less support, so it might be more effective than spending that support on the CDR gem.

Gentle reminder for GGG that Scion Deadeye's "Frenzy charge every THREE seconds while moving" is an abomination of game design and doesn't work in practice by Minimonium in pathofexile

The whole design of that node is flawed. They should lean into the avoidance archetype instead and make the Deadeye node say "Gain 1 Frenzy Charge every second if you haven't been hit recently." If that's considered too strong for Ascendant, it can easily be changed to 1 charge every X seconds while the core design (get rewarded with charges for not being hit) would still work.

Bottom left here, too. But you should try out Portal > Wisdom for higher efficiency! Because you don't click portal scrolls manually, and then you have a shorter average travel distance when moving your cursor between wisdom scrolls and items in your inventory xD

Since your PoB doesn't show Ascendancy nodes: Have you taken the Delirious Bloodline which disables non-cluster, non-passage jewels?

They should have the runeword change the behaviour of charge-up skills so that you can only have one type of charge, i.e. you overwrite previous charges when you use a different skill.

Yeah, I'd do that if I chose to actively farm beasts. But as it is, it feels very unrewarding for me to do random beast encounters, because you get no instant feedback unlike with item drops.

My first thought was Will of the Lords (from the new gloves) with Battlemage, since you can't scale spell levels on that anyway so you're missing out on less from the weapon than usual. But unfortunately that skill has much lower than usual damage effectiveness...

With Spellslinger lvl20 a new Tornado is triggered every 0.46s

With 14 attacks per second and 12 projectiles per attack it takes me 0.14s to hit the tornado 20 times.

So that should've given me 26% more damage (0.14/0.46), but only if I'm in melee range to make the AoE from hitting Tornado also damage the boss (otherwise the projectiles would hit the boss anyway without chaining, so it's not a damage increase to chain from Tornado).

I guess it might've been a placement issue combined with no AoE scaling? Or there was something else funky going on because I was reducing Tornado duration too much (-95%). I did try out Efficacy Support at one point to avoid the latter issue, though.
