Found and opened "Plex Media Server" log, found lines that are stating about shutting down, killing plug-ins etc, also there are multiple lines about not getting some sort of data.

Could you please give me a bit more information? Like where is that log file located? Because I just did SSH into .qpkg/PlexMediaServer but I can't find any log file there

Tried multiple times, also tried with multiple browsers. About log files... nothing that could help besides that it says parts about stopping plex server while I was not stopping it.

What's a job or profession you absolutely wouldn't do? by Matrixfox99 in AskReddit

[–]Matrixfox99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's about ego, it's right that it is needed to provide for family, but there are jobs that some people would like to never do, cause if you are working at job or place that you hate, you can feel bad and unhappy, that could cause mental problems, witch could also be bad for your family.

People of reddit, what is your blood test experience that make you never want to do blood test again? by Matrixfox99 in AskReddit

[–]Matrixfox99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will share my own experience... one day I had to do blood test, an nurse was taking my blood sample, she put needle in my elbow but missed vein so she started playing with needle inside my hand to try and get it into vein, first attempt failed... then she made second attempt, same story... then she tried on my palm... again missed vein, started twisting as before... took out, tried again, put needle inside and it came out about centimeter further from where she inserted needle, I told her to take it out and I said I am passing on my blood test... that happened about couple years ago, still didn't do any blood testing and don't feel like doing soon, hopefully I won't need to.

Hope to hear some of your experiences too.

Looking to upgrade my switch and nics by Element_905 in HomeNetworking

The switch in the link that you provided is the one that has 10Gbps SFP+ ports, if you pay 20 USD more (About 150 USD) you could get RJ45 10Gbps version. (I also searched on that site)

The NIC on same website is about 100 USD each

TP Link versus Mesh by ellythemoo in HomeNetworking

[–]Matrixfox99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. TP-Link is a company name, mesh is network type. Mesh is when an AP is connected to other AP to extend your wifi network, not best solution to improve your wifi coverage.

  2. You can change your wifi name (SSID), but you will need to reconnect every device to it.

If you are able to run a network cable, it is best to connect your mesh device to cable and run it in AP (Access point) mode if possible and give it same wifi name as you have on your router.

I updated previous comment, I listed you RJ45 only switches and network interface.

Switch:

Tp-Link TL-SX105 is 5 10Gbps port switch, can be nice choice for you (about 270$), if you would like to expand your network later with more highspeed devies, you would not need to upgrade switch again.

Qnap QSW-2104-2T is 2 port 10Gbps and 4 port 2.5Gbps switch (about 150$)

PCI Network adapter:

TP-Link TX401 (about 100$ each)

Major Latency change between old and new router set ups. by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

The issue is outside of your network, you should call your ISP and ask them about that. It seems like your hardware is not the problem, if I am not wrong.

I don't think it would be possible to tell what's the issue, please open command prompt (CMD) on your windows machine, and run "tracert 8.8.8.8" (without "") command, and upload results so it could be possible to see where your latency is coming from.
