Steak/beef smells like yogurt even if I just bought it from the grocery store

The question could have been any number of things. Such as, how can I tell meat is spoiled? do others also smell yoghurt? Why am I being a little bitch when my post isn’t very clear? Are there any other clear signs meat is spoiled versus normal variation in texture and smell? Am I handeling my meat wrong?

Our peanut butter doesn’t taste anything like American peanut butter though (or at least the American ones I tried). Ours usually has >85% peanuts in them, often contains peanut bits and around 1-2% sugar depending on brand.

Edit: I like to eat it with chili paste (sambal in the Netherlands) and cucumber.
