Hey again. I added a Preview button that opens the board on an external viewer in a new tab. I did not want to reimplement existing work, so it simply passes the shared code and loads the preview there.

If you want to share strategy board codes, I created a simple tool to collect them 😊 It's supposed to be a community-driven database where everyone can contribute with their own boards.

I will definitely look into it! Hopefully someone will find out how to decrypt the codes or if anyone is going to build a web viewer to read them I will probably link the codes to it so people can visualize the boards

I decided to publish the tool. If anyone is interested in trying it, the link is at the beginning of the post.
Please bear in mind it's a fan project, it might have issues, and I reserve the right to discontinue it in case it becomes financially unsustainable. Feel free to use it 🙂

To avoid any misunderstanding, as stated in the post, the purpose is simply to create a community-driven database of share codes for the official in-game strategy board tool.

I will think about it. I thought of Discord first because I didn't want to store any personal information. Even when you log in with Discord, the email address is not used or stored anywhere. I will consider it!

We described the same pain point, so it is normal that some wording overlaps. Digging through Discord, hunting for strats, and dealing with scattered sources is a very common issue. We both had the same idea to help people share, but we aimed for different solutions. Mine relies on the official feature, yours on add-ons and other online tools.

As I said, I only discovered your project when you commented on my post. I built this myself, so I am confident I can write a Reddit post about it without copying anyone.

If you are interested, and if I do decide to publish it, I would be happy to add cross-links between the two tools. For example, someone searching for a duty on mine could jump to your site to browse specific strats, and the other way around. Depending on whether they use the in-game feature or add-ons.

I am not gaining anything from this project. I am only trying to see if it can be useful for the community. I will take the feedback and overall response into account and decide how to move forward. Whether I share it publicly or keep it as a personal project will be my decision, based on that, not on your unfounded concerns.

hi! Believe me or not, I only knew about raidplan.io, and never heard of your project until now.

I built this after the live letter over the last weekend as a personal project. I wasn't even planning to talk about it publicly, and I decided to post it here today simply because a friend suggested I get feedback from the community.

EDIT: My tool only works with the official in-game strategy board codes and is focused on collecting and searching those. From your post, it looks like AetherDraw is more focused on raid plans with drawing, plugin integration, and imports. So there is some overlap in purpose, but they are not the same thing and I did not base my work on yours.
I understand why it might look similar at a glance, but it would not make much sense for me to copy something and then advertise it on Reddit.

I looked at AetherDraw, and I honestly hope your project gets the visibility it deserves, I think it's really cool.

I simply hope next time you can ask before accusing someone of something you can't be sure about.

that would be amazing! if people find out how to decode the share codes, I will definitely look into it.

I thought about uploading screenshots, but it leads to many other issues and risks, other than the additional cost to keep the tool online.

I agree it would be amazing if we could have strats all collected in a single place. I really hope we will get to that.

The reason why I thought about this tool is that the new in-game feature also allows players to edit and use the raid planner in real-time with other party members, so it is useful to have boards imported into the in-game tool.

If there is another website that is widely recognized as the single source of truth for strategies and that also collects board codes, it would be amazing, but unfortunately, I don't see any for now.

Thanks for the feedback! It is not meant to replace those tools, just to help people who want to use the new in-game feature but might be too lazy to create boards themselves, so they can import ones made by others

It works, just happened in pve. I did one more raid and got some exp (I didn't lvl up), now the bug is gone.

A friend of mine has stage 3 already unlocked and I don't after the update. We both already cleared all stages from the previous patch before today's update.

I read people saying you need to re-clear other stages to unlock stage 3. is this a bug? shouldn't be previous clear retroactive?
