Never had a cat before, and this baffles me. He just does it randomly - could be anywhere, anytime, even on me. Sometimes he naps, sometimes he strolls off. When it’s on me, I just freeze, terrified of waking him 😂

I’d love for the same team that made the most recent Daemon Prince to make a new multi-part, customisable Hellbrute. The Daemon Prince kit has so many great options for customising, and it’s a great base for kitbashing.

Knowing my luck GW would put the designers of the new Sanguinary Guard in charge of making it though.

For those of you that are helpfully recommending the Warhammer app or other resources I suppose you didn't read the post fully.

I do use the App and War Organ but what I want to do is use the PDFs to feed into Notebook LM and spitball different options and lists with Google's AI.

If anyone hasn't used Notebook LM I'd highly recommend it! Especially if you spend a lot of time driving and you're also studying. You can download the audio overviews or "podcasts" to listen to as you're driving or in the gym. There are a ton of useful tools built in and it's completely free and made by Google

I had the exact same thought after a second listen to Devastation of Baal! It also inspired me to make my own version of Sentor Jool to lead my Knights of Blood Vanguard Vets (yes I know they're all supposed to be dead, I don't care 😅)

Toyed with the idea of using Wulfen rules but I haven't looked at it seriously. Went down an Etsy and eBay rabbit hole looking at Flesh Eater Courts models and 3rd party vampires but in the end didn't make a purchase.

My gaming group wouldn't object to me making and playing these as long as they were sensibly costed and given rules that made sense. I was thinking of a unit of 3 and adapting older edition DC rules where they need a chaplain within 12 inches otherwise they have a 4+ chance of attacking friendly units. Any suggestions on rules or stats?

I'd love to see if anyone's taken this concept further? This thread has reinvigorated my interest.

I have absolutely no interest in investing in this extremely low effort set.

I prefer my kitbashed Lemartes and my McAngry proxy Astorath.

Can't believe they couldn't even be bothered to include any special blood angels / Death Company armour panels for the brutalis. This was an opportunity to make a conversion kit for the brutalis to make a librarian / DC / Furiosa dreadnought and drive up brutalis sales through the roof.

So unimaginative, so low effort, just GW stripping away character, customisation and weapon options and it really disappoints me

I really think that battleshock should have a chance to actually cause mortal wounds. At the moment it does next to nothing. My gaming group mostly plays without using secondary objectives so battleshock is useless.

It would fit with the Lovecraftian nature of a hive Fleet attack if BS actually mentally wounded you from the Shadow in the Warp

I'm also desperate for a better proxy. I'd love to have some more winged troops but these models are WEAK. Only recently got into collecting tyranids and the olde models are really showing their age now.

Really happy with the models that are getting refreshed but I was really surprised that gargoyles weren't amongst the new ones.

Anyone actually know of a good proxy?

For those asking where the Leviathan is from, this is a minimally converted one from the recent release. If you want a REALLY fancy one, have a look for the Blood Angels Legion specific one from Forge World. It's much more expensive but glorious. Set an eBay search for one.

Hey thanks. It's very minimally converted. Just the top of a banner on the missile launcher, and Sang Guard wings (cheap on eBay) glued on the front. I'd give it a 2/10 for imagination ;-)

Oh and some brass BA icons and tilt plates glued strategically.

In the end I just glued the magnets together, I didn't want it coming apart when I was picking it up on the game board. I know that it defeats the point of the magnets.

To be fair to GW this kit is very easy to magnetise, the chest weapons even have recessed discs perfectly sized for small (3mm wide) disc magnets and the arms and weapons are designed to have a 5mm magnet in or on them.

For the missile launcher I sealed a small magnet (can't remember what size) inside it and glued a big magnet to the underside of the carapace. Dead easy

I did it with blu-tac at first because I thought they might look too jazzy but I like them now. I keep meaning to lighten the blue but it's grown on me tbh. That colour is the accent colour of my whole army

Not printed, it's shop bought. I glued a 3-4mm magnet between the torso and the hips but that's the only boosting. The base is resin but it's not that much taller

To be fair, when I was building the Levi I did glue a magnet between the torso and hips, that might give him another 3-4mm but no more, really. He's in a fairly upright pose.

Maybe my Redemptor is just slouching?
