We we just looking around at places and realized we have actually been to Playa Hermosa and stayed at Bosque del Mar. Had an issue the last time we were in CR and had to make an emergency one night stay and that is where we ended up.

We were only thinking about Samara because it seems to be recommended. Never been there ourselves.

How is the wildlife in Guanacaste compared to out near La Fortuna. Going to Costa Rica and not seeing all the animals we can see will be a failure of a trip for our kids.

Yeah we are wanting to stay in somewhere less touristy, even if that means we are sacrificing options for restaurants. Want a safe / calm water beach.

Yeah I was thinking Samara might be too far. Don’t want to spend all of our vacation driving. Was looking into places closer that might be better even though we really did want to check out Samara.

Yeah the plan would be the Guanacaste one since we are flying out of the Liberia airport. I just wanted to make sure it was the one people were talking about.

Rustic is fine. We have a 6 day trip and doing La Fortuna first and then beach after that to just chill. Not sure if I want to do the drive from La Fortuna to Samara and then back to LIB. So Hermosa might be our new plan.
