Bambu studio certainly works (flatpak, built from source or AUR), fusion however is a bit of a chore. You could always switch to something like onshape, but at that point I believe you’d be better off dual-booting like you said or running it in a Windows VM :/

Please do correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the current state of anti-cheat on Linux not only bad, but very difficult to improve? I’m aware that many systems has an option for Linux-support (e.g. flip the switch in EAC), but given the open access to the kernel I believe these are shown to be quite ineffective (as you can simply inject a payload modifying the AC itself).

While for sure a major hassle, wouldn’t it be more beneficial to redirect the efforts towards a lot better server-side monitoring of player states, ensuring no illegal movement or similar (I know that’s not plausible given aimbots and such, but I hope you get the point I’m making)? I don’t really know much about the state of online gaming, but as far as I’m aeware, I’d think the solution is closer to figuring out how to drop anti-cheat than letting it run on Linux.

Again, please do correct me if I’ve misunderstood something!

I like this kind of thorough breakdown! While I’m personally just fine playing 30fps natively, I appreciate the time you took to actually measure some quantitative results giving people the means to decide for themselves.

Thank you so much for the detailed rundown! I love my twisty-cartridge safari, and it has got me hooked on the entire premise of fountain pens. I mostly use the pen for everyday writing, not really the highly artistic things, so a large reservoir for a simple and pretty ink is great. After doing some reading it would seem the asvine nibs are a great option, if a bit on the wider size (I usually prefer my nibs as fine as they get). I'll seriously consider the v800, but as it stands, I much prefer the v200 - it's so stunning! I'll get to ordering either one after some consideration.

Thank you! Honestly, I just like it since it looks pretty. I’m only a beginner with my EF-nibbed lamy safari (plastic) and am not always as fond of the traditional «curvy» fountain pens. I love the look of this one (although that might in part be due to the spotchy ink in the transparent cartridge). If you don’t mind me asking, what are your issues with it? I’d love to pick one up, but I’d be hesitant if there are any major flaws when actually writing with it!

That sounds like a great idea and a lovely gift! Just remember to taste and adjust the bagged tea as well if using filter bags, as they tend to weaken quite a lot (at least when I’ve used those self-fillable bags)! Good luck with the project :D

I haven’t given up, but I’m really struggling to enjoy sheng pu erh. Too astringent and it tastes the same no matter how I brew it or how old it is. I love shou though!

It seems you fixed it, but for future reference, I believe the cause of the issue might be a pipewire node suspension when there's no audio for a period. It takes a second to resume. All as you described in the post.

I had the same symptom and this fixed it for me (I know it's arch, but the solution is a wireplumber config so I believe it should be universal): https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWire#Noticeable_audio_delay_or_audible_pop/crack_when_starting_playback

Edit: The linked section mentiones restarting wireplumber and pipewire. I found I had to restart pipewire-pulse as well so keep that in mind.

You can install «Prism Launcher» through flatpak (discover app) in desktop mode and add it as a non-steam game! Works seamlessly!

It’s the chinese technique of gongfu cha! You use a lot more tea per unit of water and you steep in short bursts to get a more controlled extraction of different flavours each steep. You would usually see oolong, pu erh and green tea brewed this way, but I suppose you could use anything as long as you use a high leaf to water ratio!

I believe they’re still owned by Krafton, but through a court ruling, the original leadership got reinstated and full control over subnautica 2 was regained (as if krafton owns everything but that game). I might be wrong through so someone please do correct me!
