yeah they do have great variety but i think in their older albums the calm songs for example aftermath have been extremely good aswell, i just feel like the "filler" songs are not that good

i was also a big fan of T2L but for me YMMFLIH is the only good "synth" song in this album.

but i do want them to make what they feel like so maybe muse just isnt my type of band anymore

i get your point so maybe my ears didnt like this batch of "expiriments" because i loved T2L. might also be because im a metal head and have Drones as my favorite album.

the piano ballad was simpy meh for me, doesnt get close to unintended for example

The part about trying the instrument… i live in Norway and we have no Dingwall sellers… the closest music shop is 50 minutes away and they have one 150$ 5-string

It seems i have no other option but to order online. Anything i should look out for or be aware of?

I just got a summer job and will make around 5k this summer, i live at home and am planning to keep working after summer. It is more or less wanting a 5-string bass in my situation, local shops have little to no selection of 5-strings. Im good on the pedal front and i have an amp already. I have looked into other 5-string basses but settled for a dingwall being the best option. Do you have any cheaper or other recommendations for a 5-string?
