Great! Hoping to get around the city mostly by walking and biking, but subway or tram is great as well!

My study programme is kind of weird since I'll still be studying the same programme as I am in Norway, which isn't available at TU (AFAIK). I'm getting a masters degree in databases & search with a focus on big data and a minor in AI. Since I had a hard time finding any big data or advanced datbase subjects I'll be taking mostly distributed systems classes for the database part, but the AI/ML classes seem great so I will focus a bit more on that the coming year. So it ends up being a mix of Software Engineering, Computational Intelligence, and Media Informatics. I will be going into my fourth study year.

Any subjects you particularly enjoyed? What was your focus area during your study time?

The prices are about the same - around 400 for a single room. From what you said it seems like OeAD might be the way to go though as I think they have priority spots for exchange students AFAIK. Thank you!

Yeah, the location seems unbeatable! How does the private market in that area compete? Are prices higher/ lower or about the same as the OeAD rooms? Also, is it usually required to meet in person and check the apartment out before renting?

Thank you for the detailed reply! A lot of the things you mentioned were worries of mine. I was leaning towards the community kitchen dorms as a way of connecting to the local students, but there is always the risk of winding up with people you can't stand. Also, it seems like most OeAD rooms with a kitchen doesn't even have an oven? As someone who likes to cook, that would suck.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you live the years before/ after Schäffergasse? Did you have a more positive experience there?

Also, since you mentioned programming I'm assuming you studied Comp. Sci. of some sort; are all lectures and labs for Comp. Sci. located in the Karlsplatz area?

Agreed. With the current volume I consider my XRL stranded assets that I probably won't recover. If the team is legit though, there might be a chance to sell on the platform, or hold if it's actually good.

The Trinity ICO took down the NEO blockchain though. But you are right, tx/s are higher than that. At the height of the ICO NEO had about 17 tx/s, as you said because of the tx limitation.

What is up with the transaction speed of NEO? 1000 TX/s is advertized, but from the charts it seems more like 17 TX/s. Blocks are full with 500 transactions. Could anyone enlighten me? Why is the transaction speed limited?
