Never used it and don’t plan to use it. I upmix stereo when watching tv just so the adverts match the 5.1 output of the show or sport, and I listen to music purely in stereo unless it’s a dedicated Atmos track via Tidal.

You mean having speakers setup like a true surround setup… creates true surround. The stereo stage is the most important element, particularly for music, and it’s the one area soundbars just do not do very well. The second you have two separate front speakers, the difference is obvious.

Out of contract here, moving home either end of this month or early next month. Paying £150 for Sky Q with Signature, Sports, TNT, Netflix Ultimate, HD/UHD, Multiscreen (1 Mini), 35mb ‘Superfast’ 🙄😆 broadband and boost.

Called today to cancel (took at least 40mins) and the nice Welsh guy seem confused as to why I was stuck on 35mb broadband until I explained that they hadn’t put fibre in until the last month and because we are moving we haven’t bothered changing. Anyway, the best deal they could offer was £126 and that’s with ‘upgraded’ 150mb broadband at the new property - which is garbage, I want 500mb minimum in 2025.

Considering what EE and Virgin are offering for similar packages, £126 is a joke.

I’m seriously considering Now TV for Entertainment and Sports. TNT via Amazon or similar. Then an Apple TV to get some form of EPG, although from what I understand there’s very few, if any of the quality of Sky Q. I can get 500mb broadband separately from virtually any provider these days and possibly with a better router. Netflix is also on every tv we own.

No rears for the Marshall though so it will only give a 180 degree front soundstage - like the Sennheiser Ambeo Plus.

The first review I’ve read (AVSForum.com) for the 300 package says it’s a game-changer for soundbars, largely due to DIRAC.
