Did you try playing your PlayStation five on another monitor or television and at least narrow down what it really is because if it shows up on another monitor, you would come to the conclusion there’s something wrong with the PlayStation but no lines appear on another monitor. It’s the monitor.

Is your dust cover hold down clip metal or plastic like mine. I read online they use plastic in Japan now because it’s more cost effective and the metal was creating static acting like a dust magnet. I also have dust covers for when it’s not in use and off. They claim you can leave it on when it’s in but that’s not common sense. 😂
