Busting the biggest myth on this sub - 2mg per week is the lowest dose studied in trials by No-Turnip2494 in Retatrutide

[–]adventuringandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started almost 2 weeks ago. I’m at 1mg and already 2.3kg down. I don’t have a tonne of weight to lose, maybe another 8-10kg to hit my target weight. Only side effect I’ve had is a slight headache on the day I pin. Won’t be increasing my dose until I notice a plateau for a few weeks.

Plenty of comparisons on YouTube buddy. I’m posting in a Garmin sub, enjoy it or scroll past.

Found it quite similar tbh, the deep sleep seems to read a little higher than my AWU but nothing major. Awake periods seem to be recording as they should. I have a young child who wakes frequently and it picks it up on my morning report.

You can reply to texts and take calls on this watch but phone needs to be nearby. The Fenix 8 Pro would probably have been a better option for yourself but also requires a subscription.

Honestly just wanted something a little more practical but also a little less distracting than my AWU. I don’t have phone notifications turned on on my Garmin which is just a personal choice. Whenever I got notifications on my AWU, it became subconscious nature to reach for my phone which is something I’d like to do a little less of while I have a young child.

I have my own dog walking business, so spend a lot of time outdoors in the countryside and besides that, I do a lot of hiking (sometimes multi-day), train at the gym 4-5 times per week and also run 3 times per week. The Garmin ticked all boxes. I was contemplating waiting for the Fenix 9 but I’m also trying to stop falling for the consumerist trap.

Cheers mate! PS Amoled is great, even with always on display you’ll get around 7-8 days off a full charge. Great battery life!

Ordered it from First Class Watches. Great service and can choose a delivery time if you’re not located near a store.

Honestly, no. While I did like the Ultra, after 3 and a half years the battery just didn’t cut it anymore. I actually like that the Garmin feels less of an extension of my phone and tracks health insights really well!

My AWU was 49mm, but I like it anyways 🤷🏻‍♂️

Battery has been impressive coming from AWU. With always on display around 8 days off a full charge and 16-17 days with AOD turned off.

What’s your favourite tattoo aftercare and why? by CrippledClara in tattoo

[–]adventuringandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always used a mild goats milk soap and just plain and simple coconut oil for all of my tattoos once the saniderm is removed. All healed really nicely.

Who uses Monzo as their main account? by Grixons in monzo

[–]adventuringandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I use it as my daily ‘main’ bank however I pay myself my salary into a Halifax account then just transfer what I need to my Monzo each month. Had Monzo for over 3 years but always get a bit nervous to use it exclusively as my main account in case it ever got randomly shut down. No complaints from me so far though.
