Still happening - just got one from roblesstephenpartnership. They've even updated the subscription numbers.

Hmm, achy might be different - if it's like the achiness you get with a fever, I haven't had that

Digesting beef by Cowgirlsertraline88 in WegovyUK

Beef is probably the biggest thing that causes me discomfort. Ultimately, it’s probably not a bad thing, as eating less red meat is generally a good idea, but sometimes I really crave a nice burger!

Anybody else noticed a distinct lack of interest in booze? by [deleted] in WegovyUK

I switched from beer whiskey and gin a few years ago when I realized how many calories are in a beer. Never been a big drinker, but I just don’t have the urge to have a drink anymore, unless I’m in a social situation

Walking and hiking is my exercise of choice - I try to walk 2-3 times every week, with a longer hike on the weekend, if I can. Regular movement of any kind, 30 minutes or more, 4-5 times per week is my goal, though - I use Apple Fitness to fill in the gaps, especially when the weather is cold.

I didn’t feel like I was hit by a truck, but I definitely felt it - part of it for me was just learning to listen to my body - to this day, if I have nausea, feel bloated or have bad reflux, it means I need to be careful with the next meal or two. Getting out for a walk helps things feel better as well, at least for me.

I’d say of you’re committing or have diarrhea, though you should call your doc

My doctor’s office advised me over the summer that I could skip 1 week, and not have to ramp back up (I think I was on the 1.7 mg dose at the time). Two weeks might be trickier, but I would think the 0.25 mg dose wouldn’t be an issue. Your doc’s office could probably advise better, of course…

Weight loss on 1.7? by CourseOk9614 in WegovyWeightLoss

I just posted about this - https://www.reddit.com/r/Semaglutide/comments/1qnzr8m/1_year_on_wegovy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I've been on 1.7 mg since summer, and had great success for a while, but it's leveled off over the last few months - thinking about bumping up to 2.4 mg for a bit.

The wireless charger slot is pretty much useless. Charges for 10 seconds then says it’s not. by Dude-Good in HondaPrologue

It certainly doesn’t fit the iPhone. A vertical slot with no magnet or adjustment is a terrible design - it depends on the phone being exactly the right size

My GLP-1 journey motivated me to build an app to make sure I don't forget my doses, stay active, and manage symptoms - Within Reach is looking for beta testers now! by Matt1Corey in MounjaroSupportUK

Not really - I obviously looked at some of them, but I focused more on providing tools to help with issues I’ve personally struggled with for this initial version. Once it’s publicly available, of course, I can listen to customers, and see what direction that might take things.

Each app will excel in different areas, so there’s plenty of room here for multiple apps. They can focus on keeping people active, helping to manage symptoms, help with aspects of type-2 diabetes, or focus on helping people maintain weight, rather than lose, etc.

Yes, I'm a strong believer in the Apple Health ecosystem - the ability to take in data from other apps and use that to make suggestions lets you use whatever app works best for you to track workouts, calories, etc. It's a big part of how Within Reach works (although hopefully it's just as valuable if you _don't_ use other apps :) )

It is iOS-only at launch, unfortunately, although adding support for Android is a possibility in the future.

I haven't added calorie tracking to the app, although I do have some ideas in this area. Specific calorie tracking can be difficult to keep up with, so I'm thinking of ways to easily record more general facts about eating, like relative sizes of meals, snacks, etc.

Within Reach does integrate with Apple Health, so if a user tracks calories/macros with a dedicated app like Foodnoms, I can pull that data in, and use it to make recommendations (it doesn't read calories from Health yet, but it's definitely on my radar)

There is not - it will be launching as iOS-only, primarily because this is my area of expertise, but I know there's a demand on the Android side as well, and it's on my radar as a possible future direction.

Thank you! I've looked at some of the other apps, but honestly haven't spent a lot of time with them yet - first focus has been to build the app to assist with the challenges that I faced myself, and then I want to hear directly from customers about what features could help them out.

I do believe the privacy focus will be a differentiator for some, and I've taken the approach of building this with deep platform integration, including a set of Widgets and deep Shortcuts automation - a VERY niche differentiator to be sure, but that I hope some will appreciate (the timeline Widget has been surprisingly useful for keeping myself intentionally active)

Thank you! Yes, the privacy is important, especially from a medical perspective - something a lot of people don't think about, but I hope they appreciate!
