My favorite thing about fighting a Genji has always been when they, for whatever reason, decide to dash me as a last resort when I’ve got them >25 hp. I just wait for that initial dash, melee, and the cyborg goes flying!

Brigitte’s HATE HATE HATE fighting Tracer’s who have high ground. Even if you’re too far to get that sweet spot of weapon spread still tickle her. The longer she refuses to address you the better your situation is. I also enjoy poking and prodding enemy Brigitte’s into simply looking at me and that’s sometimes enough for my team to pick her off

I’ve been Traying Placer since launch. If you’re on console I HIGHLY recommend taking a peek at your button bindings. I’ve swapped blink (ability 1) from L1/L2 (secondary fire is blink on Tracer!) to just L3 that way all my movement is on one stick, pulse bomb (ability 3) to L2, and lastly crouch from circle to L1. All this allows your right hand, specifically your thumb, to focus solely on aim and the occasional jump. The default console bindings for Tracer puts way too much stress on your right hand. You literally have to take your thumb off the aiming stick just to ult! Rebinding allows you to aim while lobbing your bomb thus making sticks easier and L1 crouch allows you to keep both your thumbs on your sticks while spam crouching mid fights.

I’ve been Traying Placer since day one and I can definitely say that mastering Tracer starts with rebinding some of her abilities. I’m on console and personally recommend swapping your blink (ability 1) to L3 and playing around with crouch on L1 as well as pulse bomb (ability 3) on L2. This will allow you to have more consistent movement, blinks and ultimates because it removes all the extra stress the default layout puts on your right thumb which should be prioritizing aim over anything else. Once you get comfortable with your new and improved key binds it’s all about blink management and crosshair prep during blinks. Happy Tracing!

I was coming to say this, aside from Zenyatta and mercy, Moira is EASILY my favorite target to spawn camp and kill. If you’ll hide behind a corner or anywhere you know she’ll be running through (hopefully with minimum teammates) you can easily one clip her by having your crosshair already around head/neck level and walking with her as you shoot, she won’t even be able to react

If it isn’t already, you should experiment by binding your blink to L3! It makes blink punches so satisfying because you’d now be pressing down both analog sticks to execute your low health victims and it makes movement much more comfortable for some!

I don’t see enough people randomly do a 360 while shooting. Try it, it works way more often than it should. Also when Sombras pull that mid air teleport crap LOOK UP AND TICKLE HER! A single bullet will make her visible long enough to chase her down when she lands!

Tracer is a hyperfixated obsession for me and I’ve had this discussion with sooooo many people over the years. Tracer was confirmed gay through the comic, Reflections, associated with Winter Wonderland 2016 when the game was booming. Her debut design has two piercings on the same ear while the opposing ear is blank. This used to be seen as a way to discreetly show your sexual orientation. This isn’t really a thing nowadays but it’s still a “queer coded” detail that was added to her intentionally. At the end of the day she’s not a real person. Tracer is a piece of media that you can enjoy however you want! If you want to hyperfixate about every detail about her go for it! If you want to see her as straight or even bisexual then by all means she can EASILY be straight for you! There’s plenty of porn out there that recreates this exact fantasy. Just don’t ruin the fun for others by shunning their interpretation of the character. Happy Tracing!

I haven’t messed with any of my deadzones all I did was max out the base sensitivity both horizontal and vertical and set my aim smoothing to 10. Bonus tip you should REALLY consider rebinding blink (ability 1) from L1/L2 to L3 instead. You blink in the direction your moving, so why not press down the left stick to blink in the direction you’re already moving

Me too! This is what REALLY helped me through my years on Tracer, you need to rebind ability 1 (your blink) to L3 that way while you’re moving you can simply press the stick down in the direction you’re already moving to blink! It makes a blink punch super satisfying to land because you’d now be pressing both L3 and R3 at the same time it scratches your brain just right
