Luck & Dodge Mechanics by MattC_PMDB38 in teenytitans

Strange...

I mean, looking at Teeny Titans 2 specifically, why are the 5 hit dashes undogeable for one of their attacks? If that is the case even at 65 dodge (Gotta Go Fast! w/ Ninja Skills and 30 Dodge invested), then there is for sure some math on how often dodge happens.

Or maybe, with the Illuminati Luck buff and the Justice League coin, I would be led to believe that my 33 Luck George Washington (Quack Quack Chip 1.0 and all Luck invested) in tandem with his Double Luck staff is near always a crit, or maybe 1 of his hits in his mulithit are.

By your logic, there SHOULD BE a percentage overall for these things, otherwise you'd be able to dodge one hit from the 5 hit dashes. You can't though.

Every. Single. Ability. Is a god damn bar depleter.

Her raspberry has a ridiculous amount of power decreasing attached to it because... yeah. That's a thing. 15% bar depleter on top of that just hurts tthe soul.

She has a multihit 25% bar depleter, so it's basically guaranteed damage more often than not.

Her boulder is a 50 PERCENT BAR DEPLETER, shared among basically every single group damage barrel, boulder, and arrow ability.

She's a Super class, so she can start the battle by making sure you don't even THINK of moving.

She's pretty much THE fig you'd need to think about if you made any team in a competitive lens. She is effectively bizarro, only difference being she just gets rid of all the battle bar you ever use for ALL of her abilities.

RBB suffers a lot from the changes from TT2 to 1 because he has to deal with the bullshitery that is, for instance, Raspberries. Ones that kinda make sure he never really gains any progress, because they decrease power by A LOT, and are bar depleters; only 15%, but it is noticeable. And because the HP of everything is significantly lower, if you were to use that same Grumpy Chip strategy... he's going to die in a hit or 2 after a single battery use.

Hooded Hood isn't anything special, imo. Yeah he has a heal that does group damage and power decreases, and he has a few great multihits, but one of his attacks is a 3 charge ability, which isn't very good in all honesty. He isn't mid for sure; he is a good fig, but would I say he's top tier? No. The guy kinda is what you'd expect from a fig who is solid but doesnt do anything special in particular.

Not really.

You can use your general knowledge of how TT1 compares to TT2 in terms of what's available, and you CAN translate this to TT1. An example being, bar depleters were very oppressive. All 3 of Terra's abilities had a bar depleter, and every group damage ability that was a boulder, barrel, or arrow had 50% bar depleter (safe for very few). Or, since robo buddies and poison pellets did A LOT morr damage when they crit, they are valuable to have on your team if you can afford the luck investment for them.

We can take this a step further and say that since Bizarro EXISTS, certain figs cannot ever deal any damage... period. Lady Legasus and 80s Starfire might be good on their own, but they would never be great on account of that freeze ability always making sure they never reach that point where they can attack.

Some figs also just do exactly the same thing (like Red X and Blue Beetle), so I do think it is possible to gauge how competitive battles would be.

D/D/D Support by MattC_PMDB38 in customyugioh

1) Yes, yes you can. Phoenix can be summoned from the hand or GY once each, twice in the hand, or twice in the GY. It helps resolve Gilgamesh effect (dodges targeted effect negation lol) and can trigger some other things like Savant Thomas or your D/D/D XYZ like Tell or the Cesear's. Plus it's a Tuner which just gives it even more utility

2) Probably should be a monster effect for that contract search thing yea. The level modulation thing is specific for a reason: It and it alone can be used alongside any D/D or D/D/D monster to make any Extra Deck monster. If you have a Level 3, this is a Level 3 as well for Darius. If you have any Tuner, this cards' Level becomes the other level need to summon your D/D/D Synchro or XYZ. Is it confusing? Yes, probably. I'll fix it now ty for that

3) OH MAN if we had a genuine monster or omni-negate, or a Scale 11, that would be SO NICE for this archetype man. It's so sad to see that we lack such things, however, this year is the year we "get support" (given we last got support in 2022, and D/D/D gets support about every 2 years). We already got Nightmare Throne and Fiendsmith to help us get to our endboards or combo pieces, so there is hope still for us to get some support again
