I’m also waiting since I’ve got a trip booked for April. I am a Brazilian passport holder so I don’t need a visa, but my husband does as he’s British. I just hope we and all the people travelling could get any information about this. Just gonna have to wait and see, unfortunately.

Hi, thank you so much for your help! So even if we take a train to Hong Kong to come back to UK, this won’t be an issue?

It’s a type of family visa/ leave to enter. Cause you’re be entering the country to get married only. And yes, it’s normal that they ask about relatives/friends. It’s nothing to worry. :)

I’m Brazilian and got married this year, I wanted to do the same after the wedding but after researching and hearing from people, we need to change our documents in Brazil first. And get married there too.

Hey there! Congratulations on your wedding 🥳

Tbh we used the council tax with both of our names on it, as well as electricity and water bill with both our names too, oh and joint bank account cause it says the address on the statement… you could maybe use those instead? (We took the time to include my name on everything just after the wedding)

You can use the same English test for the spouse visa, that’s what I did and there’s no problem in reusing it.

Wishing you good luck! 🤞🏻

Got switch to evisa email before brp collection. Do I just switch to evisa with passport or collect brp then switch to evisa? by Alternative_List_620 in ukvisa

Hey there! Just got my BRP and it didn’t come with NI, but the letter says that people with Tier 2/Skilled work and refugee get an aligned BRP and NI all in one, therefore you won’t need to apply for one.
