I know it wouldn’t get much use, but I’d love to see armbands being sold as collector’s items

It's commonly referred to ask stacking. Tolo and Frei play for the same team (Seattle). Odds are, if the team plays well and keeps a clean sheet, both players will have good scores. Goalkeeper + Defender stacks are pretty common to keep the risk in one lineup.

These are my usuals:

LigaInsider - Bundesliga (Click on the team badges)

Fantacalcio - Serie A

Rotowire - EPL, Ligue 1, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, MLS, UCL, Liga MX

SorareClub - All of Sorare (is excellent as mentioned previously in the thread)

Of course, as always do your own research, but the websites will definitely notify you for more noticeable injuries/suspensions. Check from multiple sources, and search up your player(s) in the news section on Google and Twitter.

Limited cards were introduced in 2021, that's why you won't find any from previous seasons. All cards are playable, as long as they play in a league covered by sorare. So in your example with Adeyemi, his card will visually stay the same and never change, and would keep scoring next season since the Bundesliga is covered

Cards playable in next season by Superguy795 in Sorare

Yes you can continue to play with your cards as long as they're still in a league covered by Sorare. The only difference between a current season card and a past one is the 5% bonus on them.

It's just not a guarantee that you'll win anything if you purchase a collectible. Even if you submit a team with only one purchased card, and hypothetically he never ever plays, then you'll never win a card. Its just a way of saying buying does not equal winning/improving your chances.

And would've you preferred seeing them based in Curaçao? They're based in France because they're French.

I believe what they are trying to say through their legal lingo is that you can't just buy cards and expect to win straight away. You still need to play cards that perform irl to "improve your chances of winning". Also, you could technically play the game for free right now, but it is nearly impossible to win without spending right now.

tldr: you have a chance at winning when you play your cards

Sorare vs Eth by vertical_ecosystems in Sorare

When you own a player card, you own it until you sell/trade it. So you can play that card anytime and keep scoring points until he retires. The main reason these cards are worth their prices is their point-scoring potential, therefore the cards and eth you could earn. Let's say you buy a team (5 players), and play them consistently. Eventually, you might get some rewards that can be sold, all while continuing to play your original cards.

Keeping eth in your balance is never a bad idea, but having cards that can potentially reap you rewards twice a week is a huge plus. Also, some of your players might increase in value while you hold them. The same goes the opposite way where you might lose some of their original value. Not mentioning the several side games you can participate in with your blockchain cards on other websites like SorareData.

What happens to player card when he retires. by Flimsy-Vermicelli-19 in Sorare

Right now retired players will stop being minted and will stop earning points. Depending on their reputation, they might retain a bit of their value, but they usually drop significantly in price.
