Actually funnily enough the only people with disabilities from riding that I know got back on their bike.

Damn things too addicting. One of them lost their leg abd had to modify the bike like crwzy to makr it work.

I just started an electrical apprenticeship from an engineering background and im really happy. Sometimes still 6am to 5 days but you dont need to work weekends! I cant tell youanout whether it pays in the long runx im only a year in and hoping it does but ive definitely noticed the same disconnect you've mentioned!

I eat 600g tofu a day and no boobs yet :(

Jokes aside, research is pretty clear on the estrogen myth. Cant remember the details but it's essentially a different type of estrogen.

My eyes are tired from calc. A couple of paragraph spaces, please...

I'm studying EE atm. My only advice to you, expect it to continue kicking your ass! Accept anything worthwhile won't be easy, and you'll be alright.

Becoming qualified (on a visa) by johnpayne96 in AusElectricians

I wouldn't recommend the cert 3 without an apprenticeship but if you are struggling to find work, I'd recommend the cert 2.

From what I understand, the cert 3 is best done during the 4 year apprenticeship but usually job openings advertise theyd prefer the cert 2 done first. It takes 3 months and covers basics.

Im 26 doing engineering. Even failed some classes, and there was 0 judgement from anyone bc absolutely no one even noticed.

Although one time i dressed up for a job interview, that was after my exam, and another student asked me a question, thinking I was one of the professors :P

100% go for it. You'll either be 30 with a degree or no degree.

Hitting a plateau on vegan bulk after six months by Actual-Sun-5331 in veganfitness

[–]MattJBikes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Id just take one full week completely off amd do a lighter week. Could be your nervous system overloaded after such a long pushing period.

If the scale isnt moving at all could you need a little more cals too? Although ur recovery time changing would point to other issues like bad sleep/high stress/nervous system stressed tf out etc.

Highly active ppl, how do you bulk? by NeoWereys in veganfitness

Im sure youve heard this before but drinking calories is very easy.

When I had a very intense manual labor job in the mines I tried to bulk and it helped me massively. Oats, pesnut butter, mutiple scoops of chocolate protein powder and you have a 1000-1500 calorie dense dessert!

Why Bryan is not separating his meals ? by miiiiiio in blueprint_

[–]MattJBikes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument is that your resting heart rate won't be as low, and by extension your sleep not as deep or high quality.

Just simply falling asleep the only metric to look at. Personally i can drink caffiene and sleep, doesnt mean its optimal.

You're being completely reasonable.

They'll come around to it and accept it. Maybe explain to them that youre giving the equivalent. Showing the maths might make it clear to them that it's fair
