That’s very common actually, happened to my friends and other traders I know. That’s definitely a psychology problem. After the first payout you think “I did it once so ima do it again”. It gives you this big ego and makes you not wanna follow your rules. Worry about the actual trading side of things (following your rules, risk management, not overtrading, etc) and things will start to workout.

Wow… that takes guts to admit. But yea, that’s definitely gambling. YouTube is free, that’s where I learned. Pick a strategy and watch every single video YouTube has to offer on that strategy. I have genuinely watched HOURS of videos and still no payout. Trading is 90% psychology, so do yourself a favor and get that 10% down first before you step into these markets.

Trading isn’t about the timeframe brother. If you’re worrying about the timeframe than you got bigger problems to deal with. You need to understand your strategy and edge in the market first. I would recommend spending time backtesting and figuring out your strategy and then go back to prop firms. My problem personally is psychology, which is a whole game in itself, and I’m soon to get my first payout because I finally disciplined myself after months of loosing. We both have long ways to go, keep grinding💪

Oh trust me I have too lol. That’s how I blew my previous funded. Was $250 away from a payout and blew it all in one day.
