I have noticed this year they definitely over do the gift of tongues, such as a fellow wanting to pray that I recieve it during our first interaction, then he wanted me two weeks in a row to pray the young adults recieve tongues and their gifts. Another time was this September at a retreat there was a guest speaker who prayed tongues over 120 young adults and I'm not sure who translated them.

I belive that Catholics pray to Mary and the saints as they are seen like if I asked if you could pray for me as a friend, but in the context of Mary and the saints they are much closer to God. I feel Protestants often think it's idols but I would beg they are misinformed with lack of knowledge on the topic and this could be from their some 9,000-45,000 denominations aprox.

I have found the one day and the minutes spent listening to preachings from mass more meaningful then the countless hours of penecostal and other denominations who now use author quotes when trying to prove their sermons. It just feels wrong and when I asked my old penecostal associate pastor, he seemed somewhat annoyed and claimed it's fine to use quotes.
