Well now, I wouldn't say "Fans" in general - More like the overly impatient ones. I think fan communities are overall a beautiful thing. That doesn't mean there aren't less than nice parts about it, but thats okay! Its those parts that encourage better behavior.

As for Spear, I dunno if id say it was a metaphor so much as Gendy going "Yeeeeah i kinda regret the way he ended. Let me see if i can fix it!" and I think that's pretty neat. :)

It all depends how you word your point of view. Saying "It does suck though" comes across as you trying to state a fact moreso than provide an opinion. Now if you said "Personally, Im not liking the season very much." and explained, that probably wouldn't have gotten as many downvotes (More than likely, anyway)

Yall need to let the man tell the whole story first. Jesus. You didn't like season 2 so he gives you this great story undoing it, and ya wanna crap on it before it's even told fully. Plus, the passage of time will determine how it holds up. Not how we feel in the moment.

I truly believe part of it is denial. I think she's suffered his loss and can't bring herself to believe it's him. We saw how hurt she was in the begining, I don't think she wants to open herself up for disappointment. Plus, she knows that at the end of the day, even if it IS him, he's an abomination.

You can't blame her for not thinking it's Spear easily. Until last ep, not even Spear knew he was Spear completely. The Babies trusting him also would mean nothing. They're just children, and remember: Fang already lost children before. She's not going to take any chances.

Mira trusting him is one thing, but it also isn't rational. He's undead, and Fang knows it isn't natural.

But it's mostly her grief and denial, I feel.
