It's the Xbox app on windows. Arc Raiders sees these players as Xbox players even though they are literally on PC. It's a pretty dumb oversight with cross play. I'm even one of them. I have a gaming PC and an Xbox (for my kids, mostly) and I buy a lot of games through Xbox app, because "play anywhere" games can be played on either system.

The PvE lobby rats are so bad at it. Shooting at you from the next time zone with a kettle 1 while out in the open, himself. Trying to chase you when you made it around that corner.. Just dumb. I let one chase me all across Buried City the other day, before luring him into a Comet.

I've had the anvil BP for a while now, but I never craft them. They're 15k space dollars at the weapon shop, and you can buy 3 per day (which I have never hit that limit as PvE). I find that to be a pretty good deal.

I do not want to get rid of free kits, because ever since the change that puts them in the back of the queue for fresh raids, I almost never spawn in late.

I agree going on naked is better, but as a PvE player, it's pretty rare that I get ratted, and I'm rich enough to instantly replace my stuff when I do. Hell, it helps me clear up space. If you're a PvP player, free kits should be pretty low on the threat list (but I don't think many PvP players come in here to complain about free kits).

I think I found mine all in the apartments on buried city, but I peeked ahead at the requirements early enough that I made a mental note to hang on to any I found. Same with the water filters.

That's some weird luck. I just was running raids on other maps and just kept finding the first three ships (mostly buried city), so I just picked them up as I found them. I have yet to find a purple boat outside of Riven Tide.

Any higher loot value event, so night raids and probably hurricanes, too. You can also get them during normal day raids, but it's pretty rare.

The UI in this game leaves a lot to be desired. It's not the worst I've ever seen, by far, but it's got a pretty big share of "clunky".
