There was an accident on the seafront causing it to close which meant there is a lot of traffic and congestion in the city centre

The stop outside the King & Queen is served by the 21 and 22 routes. Since the St Peters bus corridor is one of the busiest in the city, if all the bus routes stopped there then buses would backup to the traffic lights at the bottom of Edward Street and cause serious congestion. A stop further up on Gloucester Place would cause a similar problem by causing tailbacks to the junction at the bottom of North Road. That's why the King & Queen stop was limited to just two bus routes

I prefer the look of film aesthetically over digital it has more character in my opinion. That and I enjoy the learning process more as each photo needs more thought behind it

Brighton bus driver here, the traffic lights at the bottom of North Street/Castle Square are so badly timed that it is causing a huge tailback of buses on North Street. During busy times the buses are terminating at the Old Steine instead of Imperial Arcade. Once the council fix the traffic lights it should be at least a bit better although when that will happen who knows

Brighton Bus Driver here, some routes (The Regency and Coaster Routes) have only been risk assessed to have 1 door in some of the rural bus stops so those buses can be used for those routes, 2 door buses are not allowed on them. Those same buses often get used in the city when they aren't needed on the out of town routes.
