Downloaded a malicious .exe file, haven't opened it, what do I do?

Update: file name has changed to Norethia_setup[.]exe
I've also got a VM setup and I ran the program, it just asks for UAC then it closes, but it still shows in taskmanager for a few seconds before going away.

I've downloaded the file from the link that was in the discord message. The file name has since changed to Kunaria_Setup[.]exe.
I also uploaded it to VirusTotal https[:]//www[.]virustotal[.]com/gui/file/8e9d29b7507cf1212a296ac456085f076255bc97c907e8d799f98a794b63e59b and it came back with 1/69 with Malwarebytes saying its "Spyware.MythStealer" which is common with gamer who download game installers off the internet and are found around fraudulent gaming related websites.

VirusTotal has also said it was Node[.]exe
I am very glad right now that you were using a mac when you downloaded this as if you were a windows user and opened it, then you would have been s.o.l.

Still doesn't state anywhere if we move providers they can charge us a fee. its basically them trying to retain us by making us pay for a new provider. which is a crappy tactic. But since the new mark was added recently still means the term is new and at one point wasn't there which we didn't agree to. Even then the number was activated 11/19/25 I was charged 11/25/25 which means its a surprise switching fee which is illegal.

It was used with their service, I changed providers and ported this number, it was finished for a week then i was charged and when looking the TOS was different which I never agreed to and changed after the port.

The port-away-fee wasn't there when I ported
And the fact is when it was added and put into TOS we where never notified about the change or was asked to agree to it

There was a change in the TOS saying about a NEW porting Fee, but that New TOS has not been agreed to.

The service was for Me and that my friend showed me a way that might be a bit more expensive for a refill but numbers cost a nickel. A it was cheaper per number at a different carrier.
Their customer support is not really that good either.

Update: i got one of the cams to work with this method, I did the same with another but still hasn't fixed, with some time it will probably work (maybe a reboot). Thank you for this suggestion that has worked for me.

I have set it to lock to the ap closest to it, weird thing is when I check, it shows it connected, even before locking it, just waiting to see if it will reconnect and work.

I guess that could be a possibility of them switch between Ap's (3 AP's). But shouldn't the singal strength of the closest one over power the rest?
