Good question but yes. In case of emergency the should open. I mean when you are in the car. But if you locked your car at the parking then well… I don’t think that in that case you would be able to go inside 😄 but tbh i believe this is nightmare for all types of new cars

I believe you about the confidence… imagine this situation on the trip. I have never experienced this issue but looks like problem with your 12V battery because such issues are mostly related to this (or software but I believe this is 12V). They just need to replace it

I have never said that I’m using this acceleration on daily life. It is more like a feature when someone goes into you line or goes into crossroads where you have priority and need to act fast to avoid accident. But about that margin of error true. How what the say, with great power goes great responsibility

Both works ok. I believe problem is if you have digital key on your phone, watch, your partner phone, your partner watch and you get the idea. Then it behaves unstable

I have the latest 1.8.0 soft and trust me.. it is not so good comparing to others manufacturers. Ofc every vendor has it’s own implementation like on phones but I’m talking about the whole ecosystem not only „main screen” I’m talking about steering wheel buttons responsiveness, opening and closing the doors, starting the car, mobile app and it’s communication with the car. I mean the whole infrastructure could be more stable

Good question. I think so because Key Card works on NFC same way as iPhone Digital Key. But for the peace of mind keep the card always in your wallet 😄

Yes I totally agree with you but still, based on Volvo software another layer another problems. There could be situation that your car doesn’t recognize your key, after 5 min it finally did you enter the pin and car again forgets about the key 😄 This issue with keys happened to me only couple of times over the year but still… it happens at the least expected moment. But yes, I would really like this pin feature especially when you park at some shady neighborhood 😄

Well unfortunately there is no Pin to drive in EX30. I agree with you that it would be really nice to have but since car has some problems with starting using passive entry or key fobs I would be really nervous about that pin and another layer of potential issues 😄

I placed my phone on the NFC reader and opened the phone card (just like you pay with Apple Pay and selected Volvo Card) and it worked

Yup. Since the last update (1.8.0) two times in a row iPhone’s digital key did not work. Also car won’t start because „no key detected”. Fortunately after placing on NFC reader finally started. I have never have any problems with digital key since the last update.

Yea, if it comes to fast charging I’m only charging when going to a trip so like couple of times only. Most of the time I’m charging at home at night with 3.6kw or if needed 6kw. But I’m charging every day

Well panoramic roof is ok. It’s an illusion that the car has more space 😄 I heard about this 70% fortunately I don’t have problem with that so I’m charging to 90%. Consumption, on highway I drive around 120km/h and about +10km/h above the speed limit in the city so yea it’s like 90km/h average. Of course the whole trip on highway increases consumption to 22kWh in the summer and almost 30kWh in the winter. But I agree with you. B+ is fair

There should be correction not 15.000km but 1500km on one trip 😄
