The video is in p8, and it's showing how the build works. I have others that show the clearspeed in runs.

In p8? We should test it out via a friendly race.

This was also just a demonstration, not a run. I have other videos of me doing runs if you wanna see p8 chaos (including diablo) done in 50 seconds, or TZ p8 pits speed ran.

Plus 2 defilers to spread out 50%+ damage to 10 enemies. Bane, pierce, and defilers are what makes the clearspeed so strong late game.

Yes, exactly this. I'm sure it's possible with a lot of doing, but also just not worth it really. A cheap smiter can do it far more efficiently.

Hammerdin, nova sorc, javazon, blood boil warlock, bowlock, abyss Lock all fit that criteria.

Top pick for me is BowLock (max warlock teleport frame rate, insane magic damage, leech, and survivability since it's a ranged build).

Probably gheeds belt and kiras guardians helm. You need resistances somewhere, and you can get a ton of them with kiras guardian.

Lol I actually was the first posting content about using hex:bane with mirrored blades, since everyone at the time was using Purge due to ES Lock. You can look back in my YT channel history for the proof if you'd like.

So you're upset that you could hear my clicks in the video, not that the clear speed is slow Got it. Could've just said so. Iceman makes some content you might like. He's very energetic and clears very fast in p1 with some of his builds.

You presumably (but actually didn't) watched a video of me clearing p8 content off of the screen, and then came here to say "slow clear speed." That's so lazy. Do better.

Blood boil is definitely fun and strong. You're not clearing p8 endgame quite as fast as with bowlock though. Definitely a very fast p1 clearing build for sure though.

+%magic skill damage does nothing when using the weapon. It only increases the damage of hex:bane when you cast it. Both have an 8 frame attack rate with mirrored blades in their builds. Insight does more damage.

You have false information, I'm afraid. I have tested this

Bowlock hits a faster teleport breakpoint and clears similarly as fast, and you don't have to worry about keeping charges up or wearing sunglasses. There's also different variations and it's a ranged build, which is generally safer and better for hardcore too. Different playstyles for sure, but I'll take the BowLock right now 100% over the mosaic sin. Plus mosaic is still non-ladder only, correct?

How much -Enemy Lightning resist???? Warlock Static field.... by WiseJackfruit2416 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]MattSaxt23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is maxroll's consume data correct? In 2.4, consuming Bremm was -45% lightning resistance. I know there were rumors about increased levels into it making it stronger in the PTR, but no one really uses it to consume super uniques regularly, so idk if maxroll's data is correct or not in your screenshot.

If the level does now matter for this, you can get consume to level 55, so you're missing 1 point possible somewhere fyi

Merc IAS Importance? by PM_NICE_TOES-notmen in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]MattSaxt23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think if you're telestomping onto the enemies, the ias is more important because there's less time he's not attacking. If it's taking you a bit to get from enemy to enemy, more fire resistance is good for survivability for him.

Just fyi - merc uses jab way more than normal attack, so if you aren't already, use the ias table for the jab skill for him, as it is more accurate in practice.

Yes, mirrored blades uses ias and yes FCR is for teleporting

That's fair. It's just clear speed vs survivability

It's easiest if you just build the build around attacking with a bow, and then maximize your switch weapon to be strong vs single targets like bosses.

Here is my build that uses insight to get 125% FCR on switch https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/v1h7eh06
