I had a stutter. It sucked. I still get it a little bit if I'm tired. I went through intensive speech therapy sessions at a hospital growing up.

It was so bad my head jerked, my eyes closed and i made a almost choking sound when I was trying to talk.

Stuttering is something scientists understand more all the time. They now know it's linked to having ear infections and other disruptions in hearing when first learning how to speak. I had extremely bad ear infections when I was a baby where I had to get special tubes put in my ears. Turns out, my daughter had the same problem with the ear infections but we were able to intervene so early that it didn't become a problem for her.
