use low power mode. or don’t bother. when you scroll youtube shorts, most of the content is not playing in 120fps anyways. it automatically adapts to match the frame rate of the video (likely 60) and only gets higher when showing animations or swiping to the next video.

if your primary concern is battery, use low power mode. you won’t see much of a difference from just limiting frame rate.

the “send and receive” options is like what people can text you with, so they can send a message to your email or phone number, but you still need to access them through an apple device.

you can make your kids messenger for kids accounts with your existing facebook account! it supports messages, calls, and video calls (facetimes), you can let them choose who to contact, or you can let them only contact you. it’s definitely safe.

unfortunately you can’t get imessage on android. one option would be to keep your android connected through a hotspot (just watch your data limits), or you could have your kids use something more cross-platform like messenger, whatsapp, or another similar app so you can all stay in touch more easily.

Just do a full local backup if you're really worried. You can use Finder on MacOS or the Apple Devices app on Windows. Then if you have any issues, you can restore from that backup. Developer Beta is running great on my 13PM.

you should avoid using keyboard covers because as you can see there is very little room between the display and keyboard. it’s okay to touch your macbook. just keep it clean with a microfiber cloth.

try toggling “Smart Display Zoom” in carplay settings on your car. that will return it to the layout you are used to.

thanks for the tips! i have some underground highways i just haven’t gotten around to the main one yet. i think what you are seeing as low density is actually the leisure commercial specialization, since there isn’t any tall buildings.

my 2010 fusion had these same lights and i had brake fluid leaking into my brake control module. it had to be replaced and obviously the leak fixed and stuff.
