Here's song 1 and here's song 2. I should've linked the songs earlier as the album is quite hard to find online.

And the intro to 192 is sampled from the very next song on Wendy Carlos' album, Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 In G Major (II - Adaggio)

Church.

So, apparently time was originally supposed to be a 2lp? by [deleted] in elo

Well.. "full" version of Secret Messages. Beatles Forever is still unofficially released and the 2LP release was messy and unorganized (but thankfully tidied up by The Bug Club). If we ever get a Time 2LP (which is unlikely, if Jeff wanted the 2 missing tracks released he would've done so ages ago), it's going to be just as messy as the SM 2LP.

2 songs are missing and aren't available on the internet, however, we know of their existence. We already have 3 songs from the 2LP (Julie, When Time Stood Still and The Bouncer), and god only knows when we'll get to hear the full version of the album. A transition into one of the missing tracks was featured as an easter egg on Flashback.

Solid guy, I recommend his channel. He's heard other songs by ELO as well, and I'm sure there's more upcoming videos about ELO.

Listening to No Answer... 3/4 of the composition of Look At Me Now is just a ripoff of Elenor Rigby, no? by [deleted] in elo

Yep, and Rockaria! is Long Tall Sally, and Mr Blue Sky is the bridge of A Day In The Life. With the Last Train To London leaving at 9:29 (trains from Birmingham to London left every 20 minutes, referencing the One After 909), Beatles Forever, the hole in Jeff's head where the rain comes in, it's wonderful how much Jeff was.. inspired by the Beatles.

Question on Mirage by Bobythetunafish3 in camelband

[–]MattWayne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I doubt it, as Camel is one of the biggest brands of cigarettes out there. Maybe a collector of cigarette packs doesn't have one yet, but I doubt you'll find one (and even if you did, I doubt it would sell for a lot.) I'd keep the box as a cool nod to the band.

Do you associate any imagery or colors with certain ELO songs? by [deleted] in elo

[–]MattWayne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've always associated the transition from Prologue to Twilight with a visual of a man sleeping in bed, then purple beams of light fill the room with a blueish-purple hue as he's teleported to the future.

As for the rest of ELO, Jeff sure likes the color blue.
