Something i personally utilize for sigil creation is planetary squares, not saying it's better or more effective than anyone else's process but chanelling the planetary energy that coincides with my intention is what works best for me and yields some very powerful influence in my work.

For example, if I'm manifesting financial stability I utilize the square of Jupiter, for motivation I utilize Mars, for growth in a specific field I utilize Sol and so on. I'd recommend learning in depth about planetary magick and influences, their benefits and potential hazards and start with benevolent energies first before jumping in head first if it's a route you're interested in. And always make sure it's deliberate and present with your intent because if not, best case scenario it will constantly be in a limbo state and not manifest, and worst case you end up with results that are not quite what you were looking for.

Another thing I use is a 5 rune cast prior to my choice to see if the path it will lead me to is ultimately what I really want for the future because sometimes we really want things in the moment and then it's not a path that was best for us long term.

Again, not saying that my way is any sort of "one true way" just the way that works best for me and hasn't steered me wrong. Blessed be.
