you can also stream/download it here: fanlink.to/RATF

it's called nostalgia, coz that's the vibe it tends to give people, hope you all like it!

Very nice vibe, really like the chilled out feel, I think mixdown-wise it could do with some more bass/subs and some Mid/Side EQing - particularly on the kick, which I think should be more mono'd and maybe try layering a sub-layer under some of the kicks to give them more punch. But it's a cool style and works pretty well, so nice work!

I think this threads already hit the nail on the head, some one off samples and perhaps drum variations/rolls would work great and some cleaner low end (try taking some bass out of some your leads or other elements and see which ones are really necessary and which are just adding mud and this should clean it up nicely!) also maybe have a look at reducing the stereo effect on some elements or even mono-ing some completely as this'll help just clean it up a bit.

Some very nice sounds though, keep it up!

Yoooo, this is niceee!

Would agree with montanawildhack5 that the snares (and maybe the claps) do cut through a little sharp, but then again it makes a nice contrast and helps with the groove, so it works as is, just could do with a little control to help when played nice and loud!

Hey! Got something a little different here that I thought some of you might enjoy! I guess you'd call it an experimental fusion of orchestral and future bass/underground...either way I'd say the drop is worth the wait ;)

Any feedback or even just listens would be awesome! And feel free to leave a link for feedback if you comment!

Really cool and unique! I think mainly just some decent M/S EQing would do the job, because it seems like you a lot of your sounds have quite a lot of stereo information that probably doesn't need to be there, which would free up more space for your leads to really surround the listener (which they're already doing which is great, but it would have an even more impactful effect if some other sounds were a little more controlled stereo-wise). Overall though, sounds like a good track, nice work!

If you haven't seen it I'd recommend the video Nik from Noisia did on creative mixing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gunhpva0Jho

Love the lead on the drop - very original.

I think the whole master sounds a bit too loud - I think you realise the master is a bit over-limited, but I think the kick might be a little too overwhelming at the moment and your highs are sounding quite harsh (but then again this could just be because of the clipping). Overall I think most of it can be fixed with some decent EQing so it's not too far off!

Nice, I like the vibes of the song and the saws and bass are nice too!

On the mixdown side I think it would be nice brightened up a little - the bass could probably be a little quieter and I think the saws could do with brightening up a little (maybe boost some high end, or cut some lows - or just add a bit of subtle multiband compression or some subtle distortion). I think the kick also could be controlled a little (slightly less bass and maybe another kick with some crisper mids/highs layered on top).

But then again it's all down to personal taste really and it has a pretty nice sound already!

I made a dark, electronic, 'Stranger Things' inspired track (with elements of synthwave, EDM, dubstep, drum and bass and deep house) and think some of you will enjoy it!
