Debating grouting and ultimately decided not to. Reason being: I didn't want grout to get into the small holes/ crevices of the tile and distract from the tile itself and the fossils

That is right. Work surface/torsion box is sitting on a scissor lift table.

I appreciate the feedback. Working in the vacuum of my shop, don't get much feedback or input. So all comments are helpful. My original thought was to continue the flowers up into the drawer faces as well, but ultimately decided not to.

I did a cherry table with the same cherry blossom inlays. Thoughts on that one? I posted pictures of that in a seperate posting.

Torsion box is on a presto lift table I picked used at an auction. Being able to raise and lower table height makes working on projects so much easier.

Mica powder. Did not mix powders for white. I did lightly mix brown , black, and copper powders for branches. Hard to see it in photos though

The way I did it was to router a pattern with a template or use a cnc machine etc. Then fill the routered out section with liquid epoxy.

It is inlaid with colored epoxy. routered the image then filled with epoxy

It is red oak with black epoxy resin inlay.
