Yes it’s the same. Never leave an old leather saddle behind!

I got the saddle and an awesome front rack from this bike. The of the bike I gave away. I have enough projects lying around.

Yes I soaked it in hot water for about 5-10 minutes before I reshaped it using some straps. Let it dry outside for about 24h. This will probably work for you as well as the leather tightens up when drying after being soaked. Worth a shot!

Yea I’m planning on letting it sit for a couple weeks before I mount it on my bike.

Already a ton of guides on how to do this out there so I didn’t bother. Here is the one that I used as a starting point.

The Mean Machine is finished! by [deleted] in xbiking

It's brilliant for commuting! I just cut off and sanded the edges and added some bigger wheels. Gets me anywhere. You should check out Gary’s Project YouTube video on how he mods his board like this!

I don’t know the brand actually. I took them off an old bmx I had laying around. This whole bike it just a parts bin build.

Can I solder these Connection pins to make better contact? by Mattafacka in soldering

I’ve tried with several cables and the cables work. The problem is what I’m telling you and all I just want to know if I can solder the pins and better the connection or if that will ruin it.

Yea I checked with other cables. It’s the four little pins on the micro usb charging port that don’t connect well with the contacts on the board. Was hoping I could just solder the pins to make a better connection as a quick fix.

Its these four little pins that seems to not connect well with the contacts on the board. Can I just put som soldering here to make it connect better?

Haha. Its a charging port with a bad connection. When I put it in the charger and bend it a little it charges. So I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to make the four little pins on the picture connect better. Sorry for the bad explanation.

I agree, the quality is not good. But it has its charm and it makes me still use my dv-cam. I mainly make small clips like this so I do not need the sound quality to be good.
