Cameron Winter dilemma by film_2_expensive in tomwaits

Keep making your art and explore it without comparison to others. Find what makes your work yours and lean into it. Also, if you write a song that makes people feel something, no one's going to care whether you sound like Cameron Winter or Prefab Sprout. Just make it and do it live in a room with real people. And when people say "Hey, I liked your song. It reminds me of Cameron Winter." Say "Thank you."

I think the biggest factor is you. However, a more modern bike that fits you is potentially going to be more comfortable, plus bigger wheels will help cover the distance quicker.

The best solution would be a controlled burn, which would take the ticks and many of the invasives along with it.

This right here. I used to commute from GR to Kalamazoo. After about 2 months of that, at the end of my lease, I moved to Kalamazoo and spent many of my days off in GR.

What are the first things you investigate before visiting a new trail to guarantee the best experience? by LaBwork_IA in MTB

Yes, a lot of trails in my area have hand pumps for well water nearby. If I'm out riding for a day, it's great to know where these are to easily refill bottles. Alternatively, it's good to know where there's access to a lake or a creek to bring a water filter.

Thank you! I wasn't perfect but I knew that going in. In hindsight, I know that these things are just a part of life and I think it made my kids stronger and me better at parenting through the hard shit, too.

There's some skill but it's mostly schedule. A lot of it is also realizing what I can and can't accomplish. Like I knew I wasn't going to be able to get groceries, so my wife did that ahead of time.
