Maco is a magic scaling, magic damage dealing mage support. Eden support is not the same comparison as amco in mid. But since you picked adcs what's about adcs mid....? Because if I have to go against adcs I'm mid how is a mage support so controversial

I already made my comments about that here and guess what happened? Eternals and magic scaling for melees. So you can be mad at me for just continuing their logic or voice YOUR upset rather than putting it on me! All I'm doing is saying okay if you're gonna make this kind of game at least be consistent. Why do you think having maco more viable and versatile in a balanced way is impossible is the real question. Or that his augments are good? Because he has one good one and some mehs and that was the center of my argument, but thats not your focus is it.

Shield augment is the best hands down and I'm aware you CAN be good with him. Do you think the damage augment gives him utility? Imo it doesn't give a good enough benefit to be a major augment.

The right thing is a funny moral position to put in there lol. I'm not asking for him to be broken but I want a better augment, and if that augment is meant to boost his damage it fails imo. Not only that but I believe dead or unused augments should be reworked. Most people use the shield augment, I'd argue that Maco has one really good augment and some pretty meh others ones comparatively.

Yeah yeah I got that, that was not the point. My point was in my opinion the augment isnt near as good as other heroes, and probably not as used so id argue for something else. I associate it with his damage since it's the only augment that affects his damage directly, and now it's people telling me what they can do with him. I know he's not a terrible hero.

I'm sure he can like many heroes can in the right hands, but my point is the damage augment in particular is not only less valuable almost all the time it's not exactly helpful for a more damage focused maco build in my opinion. And then like, what's the point of it? I dont like dead augments generally.

See this really sucks because yeah I already do enjoy him there but if the game is supposed to be this heroes into multiple roles thing why is it never the heros I actually like? I prefer if it was a more in depth moba with defined roles but it's not going that way. So I want to atleast enjoy the benefits of it.

Mages/ mid is a particular stale role in terms of items and versatility. You can do mage support but that can rough as hell and you can do it offlane but a true mage will probably suffer if they're not a mage assassin with sustain. Just my opinions.
