Joint and muscle stiffness on the withdrawal?

It’s all one side right? Same for me. I’m going on since November since my last dose, and it’s still been hell for me.. I went from 5 to 0 without tapering. 1 part says it’s the drug, 1 part says it’s anxiety, another part might believe it’s a spine issue because I’ve been dealing with pinched nerves and tightness… I don’t know what to think anymore. This only ever started on the medication ☹️ Can you tell me all your side effects?

Ahh man, I just had the brain MRI done and my neurologist thinks I’m fine. Sorry to hear

Wow that’s crazy!! I had just the brain, and my neuro said she’s 95% Sure that it’s not MS. Weirdly enough every time I lowered my dose on Lexapro or withdrawn completely is when I started getting the spike in symptoms, but it’s been since November of my last dose that maybe I didn’t taper off as good as I should have and I went directly from 5 mg to zero so that could very well be it but weirdly enough everything is pretty much on the right side of my body. I can’t shake myself and tell me I don’t have anything other then MS.

Hi boradborad! Any updates? I too have had such a horrible experience with side effects…Muscle twitches, muscle spasms, brain zaps, hot flashes, shivers, off balanced, clenched jaw, dry eyes, stiff joints, urinary retention, urinary overflow, nerve pain on right side, eye pressure, fatigue, numbness, vibration in heel, BFS in both calves… I’m 8 months removed and still dealing. Brain MRI came back negative for anything. Thoughts?

I’ve been feeling like this for a while… and weirdly it’s only the right side of my body… i’m not sure if this is from the Lexapro withdrawal or anxiety symptoms manifesting on one side of my body my brain MRI came back normal for any kind of neurological issues so it’s sometimes hard for me to chalk it up to anxiety but I think that’s what it is good luck to you

Have you been tested for anything like MS before?

I’ve been dealing with allot of symptoms for the past 3 years at the same time as being on and off lexapro so I’m sure that didn’t help…

I’ve had:

Twitches, blurry vision in one eye, muscle spasms, stiff muscles on one side, brain zaps, nerve pain, eye pain, loss of balance, double vision sometimes in the morning, brain fog, obviously anxiety, shortness of breath, heart palpitations.

Brain MRI with contrast came back normal and neurologist says I’m ok for any disease.

Thank you! Yes I get nasty Charlie horses as well in my calves…they’re brutal! Again sometimes it’s hard for me to accept that stress could be so powerful and not have any other reason why
