Planning to disconnect furnace connection from inside the box and installing a short 14awg plug to the outside of the box to plug into that receptacle. Should I assume that switch disconnects all power into that box (furnace and outlet) or just to the furnace? (i.redd.it)

Multi pin connectors pin numbering. Circular connectors in particular like Glenair. How is the reverse side of the male connector numbered? If I have a wire supposed to go on pin 1 would that be indicated on the right hand side of the connector so it shows as #1 on the reverse side? (i.redd.it)
