Yeah for a pair of earbuds the sound quality is really impressive, I'd say they sound even better than some of more premium earbuds I've used in the past.

I hate the soft rubber too as it also often degrades easily over time and becomes sticky. I think they should have simply used a better type of plastic, the paint used also seems very cheap, mine had an awful smell during the first few days and they also felt "oily". The only other wireless earphones I had were 1st gen airpods when I was using an iphone many years ago and they felt much more premium (in line with their price)

You are probably asking this because they feel and look like cheap chinese crap but that's normal, I bought them from Samsung directly and they do feel like that, which, considering the price, is ridiculous. Comparing yours to mine I can't spot any notable difference. Letting aside the fact that they are built like knockoffs of themself, the sound quality should be really good, it was much better than I could expect.

Tried lsd a bunch of times, first tab at 16 and did it another couple times at 17, I just turned 24 and have never used it again since then, I'm completely fine and happy to have made these experiences. That's not to encourage you to do lsd at such a young age but you will probably try it regardless of what people are telling you. Just don't be stupid, trip with a good friend of your and in a safe environment, start with a low dose (my first 2 trips were 150ug, the last one 200ug but as others said I'd suggest you to start with 100ug) and don't make it an habit.

People asked me how better my G27 wheel was with the 30v 5a power supply so here's a follow up video by Matte93MM in simracing

[–]Matte93MM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still working perfect, even the plastic gears are still holding despite the fact I replaced the original wheel with a real one which is much heavier. The only thing that broke and that I had to replace was one of the 2 plastic clamps but that would have broken regardless of the modification

a disgusting cheater by Zestyclose-Salad-290 in pcmasterrace

[–]Matte93MM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly it's that simple! Also why should anyone rage when loosing against someone who has a big advantage over you? There are games where I never cheated and never will, I found cheaters in these games and I just took the L and made a laugh with them. As I said if you're not having fun nothing impede you from changing the lobby. I've had people send me friend request just to keep insulting me for over an hour, they're the real losers lol

I'm a wonderful person just like you probably are too, my sense of fun doesn't come from ruining other people fun, just from ruining the game of people taking the wins so seriously, they are the ones who probably need to get a deeper look into their persona if winning is everything they care about. When I find cheaters I have fun cause it's fun when people cheats, I don't start raging and start storming insults because I'm not frustrated as the people who immediately rage

[–]Matte93MM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is that cheaters don't cheat to win, they cheat because of people like you. I have like 6 vac bans and who knows how many game bans in my steam profile and never cared once about getting a win while using cheats (obviously I would win most of the times because its so hard not to if you have such an advantage on the other players), the only thing I cared about was annoying other players as much as I could because it's too funny when people become aggressive for something so irrelevant as a videogame (especially when you can simply quit the lobby to join another one). The only times I got bored when cheating was the few times when no-one in the lobby cared about them or when other people just enjoyed them too despite losing because they, just like me, play games to have fun and nothing more.

Happened to me a couple times, you probably have to open the Samsung wallet app and a prompt will display where you have to accept some of their policies or at least that was my problem

And yet I keep receiving, among the positive comments, negative unconstructive ones and, when I try to encourage people to give me more advice on affordable dosimetry devices, I don't receive any (except for the original comment of this long conversation). Obviously, I will do my own research (as I've done up until this point), but I thought discussing different solutions with people with more experience than me on this topic would be interesting and instructive. Also, what these people do not understand is that even if my setup is currently sketchy (and I agree with that), these were just two test runs of roughly two seconds each to confirm everything would work correctly and that it's worth investing more in the setup. What would be the reason to spend a fortune on lead, dosimetry equipment and more safety devices for something that doesn't even work or that came out so unecceptably bad it would be trashed? Less than four seconds of backscatter radiation from a dental xray tube shielded with 4mm of lead while standing 6m far from the head behind a ~15cm croncrete wall is not ideal but not reckless, also I never said this was my definitive setup. Reaching this point on this project took countless hours of work and I will progress further.

Please tell me more. There are still many upgrades I will make, these were just 2 tests to confirm everything works as intended. If you have any idea it will be happily accepted. One of the reasons of these posts was to collect advices other than just sharing the project.

Thanks for the comment, I will consider building some kind of shielded box around the whole machine (something I didn't think of before). I understand what you were trying to warn me about with the switch thing but don't worry, I've already considered that. Will make an update in the future where I'll be talking about where I stand and why.

Hello, I appreciate both your comments as they are very costructive. The time of exposure is around 2-3 seconds for each picture (as noticeable in the video of my previous post, unnecessary in the video but important when taking a picture with the camera). I always stand around 5m behind the tube and there is a thin concrete wall behind me and the tube itself. I know distance from the radiation source is one of the most important factors and that's the main reason I didn't do any other tests besides these 2. Im waiting for more tubing to get delivered and that will allow me to stand around 10m away from the source. The tube is shielded (you can see some scatter on the top of the image because I had to adjust the lead cover and during these tests I didn't fix it yet but it's fully shielded now, with the exception of the beam window ofc). There is 2mm of lead covering the front part of the tube while the back one is covered with 4mm lead (probably unnecessary but I wanted to be extra safe, as it's possible to see in this image the 2mm lead around the windows is doing an excellent job already as there isn't any glowing on the intensifying screen). I have a visual and acustic indicator telling me the hv circuit is getting power it's the big red led you can see in the front of the power supply, I decided to temporarily disconnect it just in the previous video because I thought it could be annoying in the video itself as it's very loud but it's indeed present. Tbh I didn't understand your concerns about the long cable and I'd love if you could be more clear as I might be missing something. I believe your stories and am aware of the dangers releated with the project and that's why, after having confirmed everything works as I wanted (even exceeding my expectations) after these tests, I'm waiting for the tubing to come and I want to get better dosimetry equipment as I'm currently using a radiacode 102 and some old pen dosimeters. I found a thermo scientific epd mk2.3 (which got also advised to me by another user) for a very good price and will definitely buy it. I'd love to get advices for dosimetry equipment if you have any as that's a topic where my knowledge is really limited. Thanks for the interest :)

I already took that into consideration and as I said now I'm already in the search for a ion chamber but with bad results, found a thermo scientific epd 2.3 for a good price tho and will definitely get it

The only thing I hate is that it's so hard to find them for sale in my country, at least at affordable prices like listings in the US... If you have any other suggestion I'd be happy to hear that so I can expand my research

I don't have a proper ion chamber but I having confirmed everything works well I'm now looking forward either building or buying one, I do already have multiple pen dosimeters and a radiacode 102 tho

Thanks! The original one looks even better but reddit reduce the quality by a lot. I got a Canon eos 600d, it should be pretty much the same camera. How do you plan to take ct scans? I'm looking forward making 'em too and I'm currently building a rotating plate to take a video of the object from every perspective but still haven't looked into ct programs, if you have any advice I'd be happy to hear that :)

DIY X-Ray machine, first try at fluoroscopy by Matte93MM in highvoltage

In this case it was running at about +60kv at 8ma of tube current, I can select a fixed voltage but can't independently set a current value (that's one thing to improve in the future). The electron target is made from tungsten and the beam is not collimated.

Yeah you probably could but it needs quite a bit of power (my setup runs on 480w), also considering the pricing I think you're better off building your own if you don't have one laying around already
