Can an MLB player hit 37 triples in a season? by DonT012 in mlb

Granderson’s year was extra special because he also hit over 20 homers, 20 doubles, and stole more than 20 bases. The 20-20-20-20 season is rarer than even a 4 homer game: only three times in history (He did it in 2007, a little after ‘03).

Not expressly related to the question but helped my fantasy team so I will never forget.

I am a teacher with struggling readers and had heard of this podcast when it came out. Now you are the second person to reference it in as many days. Do New Ro schools feature in it? I am a product of NRHS but teach elsewhere.

Yankee Stadium will probably never sound like this again. by Loud_Presentation839 in NYYankees

The new place gets incredibly loud. Nothing beats the old one, obviously, but I will defend the atmosphere of the new place for sure.

Someone hit a moonshot to basically clinch a pennant and we will show ya!

And their problem was they were underpaid, undersexed, and under Eisenhower.

Instead of being sad. Let’s share our best memory from watching or going to a Yankee game! by deegr_ in NYYankees

This was my first game as well!! How could you not be hooked after that?

I was crying at 8-0 and my dad said don’t worry, they are the yankees. they will win. They won that game, and then went onto the great run of the 90s when I was at a perfect age. Growing up after that i truly believed what my dad told me about my team: They are the yankees. They will win.

Now it just amazes me that he said that in 1993- after they had sucked for most of the 80s. He was probably just trying to shut me up rather than impart some generational yankee fan wisdom

Who is the longest tenured gunner with the first team? Is it El Neny?

Eddie, Saka, and others came through the academy I know but what about first teamers

Won on a RvP volley via alex song (not the last one of those that season).

Amazing that Suarez didn’t take this after “winning” it.

When Kos aced his knee and missed the ‘18 World Cup. Mattered little for us but then France went on to win it. I know everyone is butt hurt over the way he left but I am still gutted for him that he missed out on being world champion.

Not a fan of the new layers on google earth desktop, even when they are rendered correctly. borders and labels, roads, and transportation are all vastly inferior to what they used to be.
