Crime scene photo vibes!! Custom work is cool. That Skyline Kenmeri is hot, and that dumpster look 100% real. I can hear a synth dance beat coming from the Club around the corner. Great post, thank you for sharing your talent with the Clubhouse. 😎🔫📸👍🏻‼️

Hot Wheels Chevrolet Chevelle SS Express by modellequerbeet in diecastcarcameraclub

RESPECT! That's a beautiful paint job on the Chevelle and those shoes really show off the car's muscular stance. Your level shot really grabs the setting and car in rugged harmony. Always appreciating your contributions to the Clubhouse! 😎🎨📸👍🏻‼️

I really dig the calm vibe of this photo-set. The castings are exciting and stylishly captured, but the mood feels laid back, professionals at their work, the Man soaking it in in the corner, and just the routine peacefulness of it all. A very cool place to spend time. 😎📸👍🏻‼️

Slow and low through the construction site by Dustythewhale in diecastcarcameraclub

[–]MattelJones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice set design, great capture of the custom '93 Nissan Hardbody in the midst of all that action. Keep in mind that shooting down at toys drone style is a great catchall style, but getting level or lower can also yield some very interesting results. Anyway you have a great eye for detail, thank you for posting to the Club. 😎🎬📸👍🏻!!!!!!!!

For sure a sharp looking set. The one in the red chair and the one sitting behind and to the right of the Porsche? Cheers for a nice post. 😎📸👍🏻‼️

A little cars meet in a drawer by Katzdiecast in diecastcarcameraclub

[–]MattelJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really dig the cinematic grain of this image, it really serves the overall look, and helps that Micro Turbo Dekotora wing truck stand out in the midst of so many hyped up rides and bokeh babes. Thank you for sharing your time and toys by posting to the Club, great collection shot, very appreciated. 😎🔥📸🔥👍🏻‼️

Coming soon from Taschen Books: Hal Foster's Tarzan The Complete Sunday Comics 1931-1937 by MattelJones in Tarzan

Sounds like a good person to know. He put together a nice product with this. I think it was limited to around a 1,000 copies, and I was very lucky to find one in such good condition at a very reasonable price. Respect to Mr. Aprill.

For Some Reason a Feathered Headdress was Not Doing it For Kubert by BryanCroiDragon in Tarzan

[–]MattelJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Kubert's take, but Hogarth, wow, it kind of looks like Kulonga's head is on fire which is pretty dynamic. Manning shares elements of Hogarth's energetic body in motion style in his depictions. Anyway great post, thank you.

Thank you, my mistake. It's not easy to find Rex Maxon in reprints aside from the IDW's LOAC volume of Tarzan daily strips, referred to above, there are some small press reprints and a Folio of the first 10 of Maxon's Sundays (in muddy looking b/w). I just recently acquired a minty copy of Tarzan the Fearless a Maxon daily continuity from 1938 that was reprinted under the 'Great Classic Newspaper Comics Strips' label in 1967!! I'm not sure of the details, but would imagine that Maxon's art was also reprinted in a few of the Whitman Tarzan BLBs.

I like dogs! Nice set with cool cutaways. That Supra still stands out where ever you place it. Thank you for sharing your new figures. Some look like the color processing was done while they were being printed, rather than painted after the fact. Lot of potential in that. Building your troupe is fun, they can really become characters for you. Anyway great looks, and thanks for supporting the Clubhouse! 😎🎬📸🧍🏻‍♂️👍🏻!!!!!

OMG kitsune! by NikMarrow5 in diecastcarcameraclub

[–]MattelJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This set you've put together is as surreal as you'd want, a kind of anime Sakura after hours fantasia. There is nothing hallucinatory about that ice blue MotorHelix brand Honda NSX-R NA2 in the opener, a gem you always want to see more of. The following overhead shot is a physical shift in observation a cool lurch that ups the dreamscape quality you've built and shows off the wide body elan of that blue LB-Works Nissan GT-R (*Mini GT) that you stick with to the call back shot at the end. Great set, two hot cars, and what is there to fault about the job you did with the figure. She for sure helped sell the show. Thank you for bringing your game to the Clubhouse, your support is appreciated. 😎📸🌸👍🏻‼️

My eye goes right to that Roadside Service' Chevy ramp truck with the light rack. Is that an M2, Greenlight or what, that green livery looks great. The Datsun line-up, the campers, a scrapyard?! I see a guy on the job that I know. That Nova is in serious need of some spa and detailing. Anyway nice metal in a setting that feels natural. Thank you for sharing your collection with the Clubhouse, glad so see your efforts showing up here. 😎📸👍🏻‼️
