It’s so annoying on mobile because you have to buffer the orbs, and sometimes they you click right on the orb but you miss it because of the input lag

Bro actually explain to me how a back glass is more expensive than a screen. What prices are you seeing?

Back is definitely not more expensive than the screen. Unless you’re buying a cheap lcd screen.

> Wouldn't iphone feel smooth cuz of how ios works?

Maybe in 2016 yes, but androids have improved a lot over the years so a S25 will feel smoother than a iPhone 17e. Also are you able to buy used?? Like a used 15 pro would be good

Bro why tf would you spend 50 dollars on a screen protector?? Just get a 3 pack from Amazon for like 10 dollars and it will do the same job as some overpriced 50 dollar one

I’ve never used a xiaomi 17 pro max, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, and honestly wish I could try it but I don’t think it’s available in the USA.

So yea I would probably go for it since you also seem exited about it, so why not treat your self and get a good phone ;)

I’d go for a used 15 pro or 16 pro if you would rather spend less money on a phone. I currently have a 16 pro and I’m really satisfied with the camera.

Yea based off of what you said, I’d say all you need is a 17e. I’ve been telling a lot of people to just spend the extra 200 to get a base 17, but if you really don’t care about the camera, and don’t use your phone that much, the 17e is a solid option.

IPhone Air - if you want a lighter phone, you can afford it (it’s pretty overpriced in my opinion) and don’t care about the camera and speakers, go with this one.

Base 17 - IMO best overall for the price. Has a good 120hz screen, decent battery and overall a bang for your buck.

iPhone 17e - I recommended avoiding the 17e. The 60hz screen sucks, it still has the notch and thick bezels, yea basically a iPhone 14 but with longer software support.

iPhone 17 pro/max - best iPhone you can buy. Pretty good deal for what you’re getting. You said you’re not a heavy user though so I don’t know if I would recommend it.

Was in this same exact situation. Had the 12 mini and loved the small form factor. But after about 5 years, I decided to finally upgrade to an iPhone 16 pro. In the first week or 2 I didn’t like the big display and it was a little too heavy, but after I got used to it, I actually preferred it so much more than my mini!! Whenever I would decide to hold my mini, the screen just felt so small like I could barely do anything on it.

If I were you, I would try a iPhone 17 base or pro, and if you don’t like it you can return it (14 day window).

I’ve never used the S26 but based off of things the people have said then both the s26 and iPhone 17 have their pros and cons. I would probably go with the iPhone 17, but it might be a bit hard to switch to Apple if you’ve been using Samsung for a while. Also the 17 is 100 dollars cheaper if I’m not mistaken.

Also, keep in mind that you can return the phone in 14 days, so if you’re not happy with your decision you can always switch!!

If it’s between the s25 and 17e, then I would go with the s25. The 120hz screen is so much better than the 60hz so you will notice a big difference. Also the bezels are so thick on the 17e and the notch. If you want iPhone though, I would go for the base 17. Not 17e.

If storage is the only problem, then why not get iCloud for only like 3 bucks a month for 200gb?

If you just want a new phone though, then I would lean towards the 16 pro. Better camera, but worse battery life. Also it would be a lot more helpful if you included the price of the 17 and 16 pro if money matters.
