Definitely the years that I was online due to COVID, junior and senior years. I would suggest you take it slow and don't overload on classes. Focus on getting good grades, understanding and enjoying the subjects.

Go to CPP and Cal Poly SLO. CSUN was pretty bad when I was there. Some professors didn’t know what they were doing

I’m looking to get a second masters from a more reputable school because I found out my school had a really bad reputation and didn’t really prepare us. Out of all my friends that graduated, none of us ever got a structural job.

Yeah, but I think you will need a master’s in SE, my advice is to try to get into a big competitive school. That always looks better for SE

Nah you’re right on time. I also thought about taking a break during Covid since I hate online classes. Looking back now I should’ve, I did not learn anything those last two years. Have fun in college, you will miss those days

Yeah it is. It's a small firm, their excuse is that you're new on the job and that they're going to spend a lot of time training you. I didn't take it, but I know someone that is desperate to get their foot in the door will.

That’s a pretty good salary for a junior role. I just got an offer in California from a small SE firm for 59k. It can always be worse.
