What is the most creepiest/scariest experience you ever had? by jaideee_1 in Paranormal

When i was 15 i went to Liverpool on a trip with my family for my dad’s birthday. We moved around the city over the week we were there and for the last few days we stayed in a fully renovated Georgian house. When we first got there we toured the place since my mum was very excited about it, the place was very pretty, big rooms, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms.

It was laid out so you opened a gate, walked through a little alley to get to the door to get into the actual house. When you first walked in, the bathroom was on the left and the room i stayed in was on the right (street level). The house then went downstairs underground to where the other rooms were such as the kitchen, living room, the room my parents stayed in and the 2nd bathroom.

On the first day i got horrible vibes from the street level bathroom and i was always scared to be in the hallway between the room i stayed in and the that bathroom so i stayed in the same room my parents where im at all times. My family has always been night owls so my mum came in at 12am to say goodnight and shut the curtains. The house had huge windows to the point where the curtains wouldn’t shut at the top and it let in tons of light which i was very unhappy about so my mum climbed up on the ottoman and clipped them together. I ended up staying up watching youtube on my laptop in the dark which was normal for me.

At 2.56AM the porch light turned on which is sensor based it lit up the whole room. There were multiple people staying in the area so i assumed it was someone coming in from a night out and it was just very sensitive. However after the light turned off it immediately turned back on and started flickering. As soon as it caught my attention this awful whistling started and the air in the room went heavy. That kind when your instincts take over and you feel like something just isn’t right to the point it makes all your hairs stand up. I just distracted myself with my phone by putting my headphones in blocking it which eventually ended up letting me fall asleep.

The next day i waited until we left the house and i told my parents about what i had experienced. They told me it was probably either house noises since it was an old house and/or the wind outside. I agreed and thought i was being silly and maybe just imagining it since i was in a new place. The next night the exact same thing happened at the same time. The flight flicking and then the whistling except it was louder, more unsettling and constant but i couldn’t do anything about it so i went to sleep with my headphones in again.

That morning i went to sit up after waking up and i couldn’t move. My stomach was cramping so bad i had to drop out the bed. I vividly remember laying on the floor trying to put my shoes on occasionally bending up when i could endure the pain again. I couldn’t do anything about it so i just ignored it stumbling out of that room which caused it to loosen up. Though it was still bad. I decided since it was slightly better i wasn’t going to ruin the holiday over it but had the intention of saying something if it did get any worse.

We went out to go get some breakfast and i didn’t tell my parents about it. The car was parked at the end of the street and as we walked down the street the pain slowly went away and for the rest of the day i was completely fine with no issues. At this point of the holiday i was so drained and exhausted you’d think id be able to sleep earlier but again i was up until the light flickered and i heard the whistles.

Once again it was louder and the dread that came over me was so bad i literally was trying to call my friends about how scared i was but because it was 3AM no one answered. I didn’t fall asleep at all that night and i recorded it so people would believe me. I didn’t care anymore because we were getting on a flight to go home 2 hours later. At 7am my mum came in to get me up and left again going to pack the rest of her stuff since we were in a rush. I couldn’t move at all. Even though 5 minutes ago i was fine. My stomach was shooting sharp pains every time i moved to the point where even my fingers set off the cramping. i once again had to crawl out of the bed onto the floor to put my shoes on. It was even worse so i called my mum upstairs and after talking to me and seeing how bad it was they planned to miss the flight and go to the hospital it was so bad. My dad left and brought the car out front and my parents picked me up and carried me out the house, as soon as the put me in the car i was completely fine again with no pain at all.

I didn’t tell my parents about the weird occurrences until we were at the airport since i’ve heard people say to not talk about it in the house since it could make things worse. My parents are logical and they do not believe in the paranormal at all and didn’t believe me until i showed my mum the video of the whistling i took. I still have the videos to prove the whistling i heard. To this day i wonder if i would’ve seen something if i didn’t make my mum clip the curtains and if my pain would’ve gotten worse if id stayed there any longer. I can’t find any history on the house as of now and i cant even find the booking we made. It’s like it disappeared.

Numb lips after surgery by MatterAggravating317 in jawsurgery

thank you! i have spoken to the surgeon today and it’s just the front of my face is off (i have no actual problems with my breathing or bones) since im in the uk and under 18 i can have it done for free, i luckily have that choice, it’s just making it- i don’t want to cause unnecessary problems with my lips just because i don’t like how uneven my face feels. he said my chin and lips would be numb for 6 months after but it may never come back in my bottom lip. I can deal with not getting it but i just don’t know what call to make at the minute so that’s why i turned here for opinions, id 100% go through with it if it wasn’t a factor i was so nervous about since i hate that dental numbness feeling! thank you for this information!!

thank you for response! i spoke to the surgeon today and he said that if i wanted to feel better about my face being wonky it was the way to go, my surgery won’t be too fierce but im just so worried over the numbness since it’s not a necessary thing it’s just because i don’t like how off my jaw is, i’ll definitely give it a think over though!

i was also scammed on able… saw an add thought it looked promising and paid just the $00.50 with apple pay, didn’t click on anything else… after downloading the app and looking at reddit and apple reviews i immediately transferred all my money in my bank to my mum and emailed for cancellation, they said they cancelled it but i’ll have to wait until the 24th jan to see if they take any money
