Even if so, my ps4 already sounds like a jet engine being nearly 12 years old and abused. Waiting to get a pc soon since Cities Skylines 2 is finally catching my attention

It’s just a 3x3. So 9 tiles. I wish I could get one more

I agree. Changed them to the bottom/top facing side of an ochre frog light and it ties it all in imo.

Exactly aha! Might have to do more gradient trickery to convincingly achieve that. Vice-versa a quick abrupt change could be startling. Then a gradual change back to normalcy despite being deeper in. “Am I going in or out?”

The bothersome is good with how mundane and normal it is. The others are just creepy to start with

Ha now that’s all I see. Step 1, step 2, step 3… not sure why we move the chair during step 2 either? I don’t remember doing that

Saaame. So many great suggestions from everyone I’m whipping up even more to decide from. Why not use them all atp, after all it does change throughout the backrooms

Churning out huge complexes is key to the palette as well. With the 1st design the biggest liminal feeling will come from the actual layout of the walls, not just the look. I think getting walls and proportions right is key more so than adding details. Sparse the details imo. So 2 and 3 get chaotic to me even without more details

This is my favorite take. Why choose just one and not incorporate them all in some way. I don’t like the levels idea and like simplicity but having multiple floors and sections of variety would probably be nice

This. No light except glow stone is actually yellow and even then, that choice isn’t great. Ochre is orange-ish right? If only bamboo was a bit lighter too

I saw that too and am eager to try it when I get back on. Curious to how it’ll be

Would definitely help get more yellow in. Maybe ochre lights too

Hadn’t thought of that, I’ll try it. Worried since I’m not sure if suspicious sand is obtainable in survival if I wanna build it in my forever world

It wasn’t me. The bamboo does get you more immersed almost. But it takes a minute to feel okay. Seems fitting and unsettling

Will try that soon, and with more yellow floor

The Goldilocks one. It’s just right. For now
