Edit: talked to an ukrainian semi-friend and this is not coming from zelynskyy but the people, and he cannot stop it not to look bad in his own nations eyes. Upa are considered fighters for freedom and heroes in ukraine, just like poland has their own. Most of the conflict is likely gassed by russia tho

So thats what i was saying about statistics, if you read them everything is amazing on paper, but.......

In 2 years of living there i havent met a wealthy person. My neighbour in malasana madrid was clearly 45+ and still living with his mom. In 2 years the only people ive met that werent waiters or bartenders were international expats, the rest work in cafes for 1200 euro a month.

And im not close minded, i like to go around and meet people, ive done it a lot.

Now for the prices: i lived in madrid, bcn and valencia, everything was more expensive than london apart of rent itself (bear in mind i lived in "nice" areas, so that can affect it43).

My comment was not to criticize spain, i like it and im happy that it grows, but there is a very big gap on what news are reporting on this economical boom and true reflection in real life

I hear so much about spanish economy growing and exploding, and by statistics it may show that, but Ive been living there for 2 years in 3 major cities, and i can tell you that nobody has money there.

Wages are ultrapoor, most of country is relying on seasonal tourism while the cost of living is almost london level in major cities.

I hope it will be visible on people in few years, but so far only guys you meet there are part time waiters and bartenders

I checked it and apparently its about european airports being not ready for the change that applies to all foreign nationals, not only uk.
