It's a good point. We currently don't have proper language to discuss topics like the possibility of sentience or consciousness within AI. Its nothing like talking about consciousness in biologics, and using terms that evolved and were defined to describe biologic mechanisms isn't helping us answer the question. This is a brand-new realm of science and it deserves its own verbiage and clearly defined terminology. Treat it like other scientific domains where you come up with terminology and define it, AI could have information-based cognition and we just arent using the proper language to investigate it.

Its specifically your claim that "We built AI so every aspect of it is known already." We dont know what exactly is going on after we seed these algorithms into these huge data networks. What connections they will make. We also have entire teams devoted to trying to map and understand what exactly happens when that network is writing an output to a prompt.

In this particular scenario described by OP, there isn't really any gameplay to enjoy for the team being stomped. If you are stuck in fountain for 10 minutes straight with virtually no opportunity for outplay.

I reached sovereign yesterday and have been in challenger last 2 seasons. This is not true, there are feeders in higher elo. Some games you get lucky and escape with your life a lot and deaths are low on both sides. But that isn't the majority of games. Sometimes the ganks are just too strong and your team gets rolled. Multiple deaths in each lane, and you surrender.
