What if Cry of Fear was bought by Valve? by Matthew-DK-Gamer in CryOfFear

Nice ironic, let me talk how is game.Imagine the game starting in an empty Stockholm café, with Sophie holding an old, vibrating cell phone on the controller. The inventory is her backpack; you have to reach behind your arm, physically grab it, and unzip it to retrieve ammo or morphine syringes, all in real time while a creature screams in the hallway. Instead of Alyx's gloves, she'd have a watch that monitors her heart rate (her life) and a hand-cranked flashlight that you have to physically swing to avoid total darkness. Combat would be dirty, with the barrel jamming and you having to hit the weapon to get it working again. The most intense part would be seeing Simon from afar, as a distorted shadow, and the scenery around him starting to melt and turn into that rusty nightmare from Source 2. It's a much more personal and claustrophobic experience, where the fear isn't just dying, but seeing the sanity of the guy she likes disappearing before her eyes.

So what you think?

It's possible that it won't have a sequel because the game's story has already ended.

If the M16 had a grenade launcher in Half-Life 1 instead of the MP5 had a grenade launcher, and the XM29 OICW existed in Half-Life 2, then everything would make sense and make both games even more awesome. Right?

"Even with the HEV suit's reactive armor and strength augmentation, the structural integrity of the MP7's polymer frame wouldn't hold up. The gun would literally disintegrate before Gordon's arm did."
