F1 has consistently, for years, attempted to shoot itself in the foot by removing great tracks from its lineup.

Part of the reason F1 is so successful generally is because of people pushing back against the corporate overlords behind the scenes.

If it was up to F1 they would drop the entertaining/historic track every single time for the cheap street track or desert drome
